China Aviation News Network News: A few days ago, the Hughes Research Laboratory (HRL) in the United States successfully completed the "Eye of the Sky" (nemesis) system live demonstration. It is a bionic eye vision image processing system based on small drones designed to provide real-time situational awareness analysis and actionable intelligence to decision makers and combatants.

By integrating with small drones, The Eye of the Sky simulates a human vision system to analyze video images and other data acquired by multi-mode sensors, identify and track the movement, behavior and overall scene of the target, and transmit the analysis information to the combatants in the form of text or audio in a timely manner.

The person in charge of research and development of the system said that the "Eye of the Sky" achieves efficient and accurate video analysis and judgment by mimicking the human visual path, can understand and interpret the images observed by the drone, and directly provides operational intelligence for combatants. Combat units do not need to spend time and manpower to watch and analyze videos, thereby reducing cognitive workload and improving the efficiency of mission execution.
