Monk Greenqin (1811-1865) Mongol nobleman, step-son of The Daoguang Emperor's sister, Borzigit. A native of Horqin Banner (now part of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region). The Minister of Counsellor General, minister of Chincha, was besieged and beheaded by the Twister Army in 1863 at the Battle of Gaolouzhai. A famous military general in the late Qing Dynasty.
Main achievements: Defeating the Taiping Army, capturing Lin Fengxiang and Li Kaifang, and defeating the Anglo-French coalition in the Second Battle of Dagukou.
