Drink some nourishing soup and get on fire, many people have such a situation!
Yin tonic medicine is more nourishing and greasy to the stomach, yang tonic medicine is easy to raise the sun to help the fire, especially for people with spleen deficiency and wetness, dull supplementation is easy to cause stagnation.
In the tonic, the addition of sand kernels, tangerine peel and other drugs that strengthen the spleen and vaporize wetness can make the supplement without stagnation and promote digestion.
Today, I will talk to you about the essential medicine for awakening the spleen and stomach - sand kernel!
Chunsha Ren is not only the first of the four famous southern medicines in China, but also one of the Ten Great Avenues of Geography medicine. Strictly speaking, only those produced in Yangchun, Guangdong Province, can be called spring sand kernels, and those of other origins are called sand kernels.

It has been used as a traditional Chinese medicine for more than 1300 years and was first recorded in the Tang Dynasty.
At that time, the four seas were traded, commerce was prosperous, bringing many imported products, including sand kernels, so the import was genuine, because the shell was wrinkled, rough and thorny, and the seed kernels were densely wrapped into a ball, so it was called 'shrunken sand graft' at that time.
Until the Song Dynasty, the discovery of domestic sand kernels, and the smell is more intense, more oily, better quality, only officially on the stage of traditional Chinese medicine, domestic, imported at the same time as the use of shrinking sand, and until the Qing Dynasty, it was officially renamed "sand kernels", which has been used to this day.
There are many sources of sand kernel varieties, and there are currently 3 kinds listed in the pharmacopoeia, namely the dried fruits of the ginger family plant Yangchun sand, green shell sand and Hainan sand.
Among them, Yangchun sand has the best quality and the largest yield, this kind of sand kernel is not produced in Yangchun, Guangdong, but the Yangchun sand species introduced in various places in the last century, and the largest production is currently near Wenshan Prefecture and Honghe Prefecture in Yunnan.
(Yang ChunSha)
Now the production of sand kernels that are really produced in Yangchun is very small, and the annual output is more than one ton, which is basically unavailable on the market.
Sand kernel is a perennial herb of the ginger family, like temperature, shade, like wet, there are natural trees to do shade, grow in pieces on the ground, and the same latitude and longitude can basically be planted, sandy soil is better.
Ginger plants bloom flowers are generally very beautiful, sand kernel is no exception, especially peculiar is that its flowers and fruits do not grow on the stems far from the ground, but on a short stem that blooms and bears fruit on the ground, as if a bunch of purple-red fruits grow directly from the ground, and when harvesting, the cat has to pick it on the ground at the waist, which is extremely hard.
(Sand kernel)
Fresh sand kernels are not tolerant to put, more than 3 days will begin to grow mold, so it should be dried in time. Now there are imported sand kernels on the market, a kind of sand kernels from Cambodia, Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries, used to be called West Sand Kernels, the smell is lighter, the oiliness of the seeds is also insufficient, and the medicinal effect is naturally far less than that of domestic production. Because the price is cheap, only about a quarter of the domestic sand kernels, users need to pay attention if the market buys themselves.
Sand kernels, warm and spicy, rich aroma, is a taste of awakening the spleen and stomach medicine.
Yin tonic medicine is generally more greasy, easy to cause indigestion, affect the appetite, at this time, the prescription with sand kernels, it can not only relieve the nourishment of yin medicine, but also regulate the spleen and stomach, help the human body digestion and absorption. However, the amount should not be too much, and the fear of dryness is too divergent.
Sand kernels can also perform qi and middle, due to spleen and stomach deficiency, gas stagnation caused by bloating abdominal pain, vomiting and diarrhea, etc., often with bai shu, dang ginseng, poria and other warm spleen to disperse cold and dampness.
Sand kernels also have the effect of introducing medicine downwards, inducing qi to return to the yuan, and helping the kidneys to absorb qi. The actual medicinal part of the sand kernel is a seed kernel, now with more shells, so it needs to be broken when used, because of the aromatic smell, long frying is the loss of medicinal effect, so it is necessary to cook for about 5 minutes after that.
In folk, sand kernels are widely used as a seasoning. Aroma can dissolve the wet spleen to remove the fishy smell, Yangchun local steamed fish like to put a few sand kernels, fish meat is also easy to digest, both to go fishy, but also to improve the spleen and stomach weakness caused by less bloating.
At the same time, the dry nature of sand kernels can also dissolve the greasiness of meat and play a role in strengthening the spleen and appetizing, so sand kernels are basically indispensable in various seasoning recipes.
In addition, the famous Wuhan duck neck seasoning recipe includes sand kernels.
Xinxing County, the hometown of cool fruits, preserved fruit manufacturers will use some cooked sand kernels, with salt and sugar through a series of processes such as cooking, making sand nut preserves for snacks, appetizing and anti-vomiting.
People in the production area of sand kernels also like to use fresh sand kernels to brew wine, a small cup a day, which has the effect of dissipating qi stagnation and appetizing food.
