adj. Motivated
root:
-cent:=sing, song, meaning "sing, sing"
affix:
(1) in-: indicates within, enters, makes...
(2) -ive: =-ative, denoting an adjective
in-+cent-+-ive=making + singing → make people praised
By extension, it means stimulating, motivating
Phrase: material incentive Material encouragement

2、perfume
English [ ˈpɜːfjuːm ]
Beauty [ pərˈfjuːm ]
n. Perfume, aroma
vt. Make full of aroma
fum-:=fume, smoke, smell
per-: Means complete, from beginning to end, forward, every, every. It is cognate with forth and ford.
per-+-fume = complete + smell→ diffuse smell
By extension, it means aroma and so on
Phrase: perfume bottle perfume bottle
