Li Qipi is located on the Chebei River, more than 3 kilometers west of Fumian Town, Fumian District, and is a Dam in the lower reaches of the Chebei River. The original Li Qipi was built by the Qing Dynasty Fu Mian Yajiaoling Village named Li Mu Bo nicknamed Li Qipi, so it was named Li Qipi. However, the current Li Qipi was rebuilt after the founding of New China. According to Li Yongchao, secretary of the former Shicun branch of the town, the original Li Qipi was about 1 kilometer upstream of the current Li Qipi, and due to the several floods that washed away, after the founding of New China, the government made great efforts to move the Bei Dam down to a more generous position, and built a rather majestic Pi Dam, which brought rich well-being to the villagers in the lower reaches of the Chebei River.
