Lakers reporter Dave McMenamin also confirmed the news, with James missing the team's game against the Thunder yesterday. According to a source familiar with the injury, the Lakers' medical team "hopes to take it slow" to help James recover.

Multiple sources said James' abs strain worsened during Wednesday's win over the Rockets, with the team saying lbj suffered a rectus abs strain. In the fourth quarter of that game, James began to feel some injuries, but didn't know what caused it.
