The ancient Huangpi Chengguan Street is small and exquisite, very lively. The ancient city of Dadongmen, Xiaodongmen, Daximen, Xiaoximen, Dananmen, Xiaonanmen, etc., six doors are open, along the Shuishui River and the city border water port with four docks, water and land transportation is convenient, logistics frequent.
Nine streets and eighteen lanes crisscross each other, shops, museums, and wanton rows, and there are "delicious street", "pawnshop street", "gold lock silver chain street" and other characteristics of the reputation of the streets and alleys, people come and go, business is booming.

I. Ancient Huangpi Lively "Ninth Street"
1. Jade Belt Street: East of Chengguan, turn from Xiaodongmen to the northwest, around Panchi, Jiexiao Ancestral Hall to Dadongmen. It is bordered by Main Street to the north and River Street to the south. The street is tortuous, and the yinghui is like a belt, so it is called Jade Belt Street.
2. Chenghuang Street: Northeast of the city, the street slopes from east to west. The street is named after the City God Temple. There is also a Yue Temple in the street, and Guan Gong and Yue Fei have statues with seated statues.
3. St. Back Street: After the Holy Temple (that is, after the present People's Venue). The Holy Temple is a place dedicated to the saints, and the temple contains tablets of Confucius, Mencius, Yanzi, Zengzi and the Seventy-two Sages. A stone stele was erected on the right side of the front of the holy temple, and the eight characters of "officials and people waited to get off their horses" were written on it. There are wooden fences on both sides of the temple gate, and cars are not allowed to enter.
4. Cross Street: From River Street in the south to Main Street (now Maekawa Avenue) in the north, it is relative to the hall street with the "ten" character, so it is named. It is a bustling place for business. In the past, Wang Zhengqi donated and founded the "Qinxiang Bureau" to be located on this street.
5. Hall On Street, also known as Tiancheng Street: from the three-eye well of Zhengjie Street in the south to the old Yamen of Gulou in the north. Roughly in front of the teaching building of the old Maekawa Middle School in the west of the experimental middle school from the present-day people's venue. That is, the middle section of Great South Street is now a little easterly.
6. Zheng Street: Zhongzheng Street before the Republic of China, Zhongshan Avenue after the founding of the People's Republic of China, now known as Qianchuan Avenue. From Panchi in the east to the Great West Gate in the west. It is a main street in the city.
7, River Street: south of the Huangshui River and named (actually south of the city wall, outside the city is the Water), that is, the current People's Street. There are "Dianjiangtai" and "Yangbo Bridge" in the street. According to legend, she Taijun of the Song Dynasty marched here, rested and practiced, and built an earthen platform, called "Point General Platform". Dianjiangtai, Wanglutai and Diaoyutai are the places of "three platforms" of Huangpi scenic spots.
8. Backstreet: North is the back, that is, north of the main street. Also known as Dowry Street. It is located in the current Cultural and Sports Square (now the square is the ruins left by the Japanese after the bombing of Huangpi). At that time, the county chamber of commerce was located on this street, with the inscription of Li Yuanhong, which was also a lively place.
9. West Street: Located in the west of the city and named. It's a very lively street. Originally known as Gong'an Street, it is now called Min'an Street. From the south to the main street, north to the small west gate (south of the current old bus station). Out of the ancient city, through the small Banqiao, the big Banqiao straight to the West Temple.
SECOND, the bustling "Eighteen Lanes" of ancient Huangpi
1. Ganjia Lane: An alley facing north of the Great East Gate. In front of it, there was the Liu Clan Ancestral Hall, that is, the Ancestral Ancestral Hall of Liu Binshi. The ancestral gate is hung with a "Wen Kui" plaque, and the back of the shrine is close to the city wall.
2, Jiangjia Lane: in the west of Ganjia Lane. There is the Wang Clan Ancestral Hall in the front, and the back is adjacent to the city wall, and the streets and alleys are narrow.
3. Wujia Lane: Near Panchi, leading to Chenghuang Street. It's an alley, and there are few people.
4. Zhongjia Lane: Tongsheng Back Street. On the side of the alley, there is a filial piety shrine.
5. Dongcheng Street: Also known as Dongcheng Lane, the north out of Shenghou Street can reach the Drum Tower (now the southwest of the experimental college).
6, Xicheng Street: also known as Xicheng Lane, from the drum tower in the east to the "Iron Lock Dragon Pond" in the west.
7, Zhoumei Lane: also known as Zhou Mi Lane. Also known as Zhenwu Road or Zhenwu Lane. In the current Food Bureau. Chen Qiujiu once lived in this alley and made good repairs to the pavement of Zhoumi Lane. At the intersection, there are three words in Chen Qiujiu's handwritten book "Zhenwu Road".
8, Daijia Lane: from the main street to the river street, the Qing Dynasty has been using this name, is an ancient street. In the alley, there are Wang Family Chaomen and Qingjin Inn.
9. Luojia Lane: From the Wang family to the gate side, leading to Luojiayuan.
10. Fire Lane: Longtan South, diagonally opposite Daijia Lane, with a Fire Official Temple in front.
11, Small Fire Lane: Longtan South, Dahuo Lane West, there is Xueying Temple in the lane, which is built to commemorate the Reading of Sun Kang when he was young in the Jin Dynasty, and there is a statue of Sun Kang in the temple. There is also the Yaowang Temple, which houses a statue of Sun Simiao, the Yaowang.
12. Fengjia Lane: Xitong West Street, East Longtan.
13. Xijia Lane: Also known as Suijia Lane. The alley is connected to the lake. The lake was the place where the Qing Dynasty greeted Liu Binshi of Qincha on his southern tour, hence the name. Pick-up lake is also known as Xuejia Lake.
14. Peijia Lane: In the west of Zhenwu Lane, north of Zheng Street, south of River Street. The famous "five-story" is located north of this alley. In the early days of liberation, the county people's government was located here.
15. Yejia Lane: Merge with Yongfengcang and Lei Zudian via Tonghe Street.
16. Guojia Lane: On the side of West Street, connecting the connecting lake and the small west gate.
17, Yongfeng Lane, also known as Yongfeng Cang: because there is a large granary in the lane that collects grain. In the laneway, there is the Cheng's Archway, where "Ercheng" was born. Historically, it was called Grass and Wood Lane. It is now called Wenjiao Lane.

III. Ancient Huangpi Mighty "Six Doors"
1. Dadongmen: Formerly known as ZhaomingMen, at the east exit of the current Qianchuan Avenue (formerly Zhongshan Avenue) (Wuxiao Southeast, Huangpi Hotel Northeast, District Foreign Trade Southwest).
2. Xiaodongmen: Formerly known as WenchangMen. Present-day Renmin Street East Exit.
3. Great South Gate: Formerly known as Gyeongbok Gate. North of Maekawa No.2 Elementary School, south of Daohuaxiang Restaurant, the nearby area is still called the Great South Gate. The name of present-day Great South Street originates from this.
4. Small South Gate: Formerly known as Kangfu Gate. Former county handling station, now outside the old dormitory of the vegetable company.
5. Great West Gate: Formerly known as Yutai Gate. After the First Elementary School of Qianchuan, the former Chengguan Hospital is not far to the west, and it is still called the Great West Gate.
6. XiaoxiMen: Formerly known as FengxiangMen, near Xiaobanqiao, south of Xiaobanqiao Shopping Mall.
IV. Ancient Huangpi Lively "Four Docks"
1. Great West Gate Wharf, that is, the wharf outside the Great West Gate: Located at the Daxing Gate in the southwest of the city, it is a passenger terminal. Every day, wooden boats sail the Hankou Dijiao and Fujizigang (port). Each class carries 10 to 15 passengers. The county seat to the estuary, also through passenger transport. The large ship carries 20 to 30 passengers. The boat carries 10 to 15 passengers. It's all round trip sailing. At the same time, this terminal is also a terminal for transporting daily necessities. Boats transporting vegetables, pigs, poultry and eggs are loaded and unloaded every day. Nearby, there is still a village called Daqua (now integrated into Maekawa Subdistrict).
2. Xiaonanmen Wharf: Located on the banks of the Xiaonanmen River in the county seat. It is a commonly used wharf for shipping bamboo, general merchandise and groceries.
3. Great South Gate Wharf: Located on the river outside the Great South Gate. It is a grain dock for transporting grain, rice, grains, and bean cakes.
4. Xiaodongmen Wharf: Located at the Huangpi Bridge. It is a wharf for loading and unloading coal, kerosene, timber, and groceries.
