Two days ago, I happened to read a few poems from Haizi. He's a collection of poems that I haven't turned over in a long time.

"After this month, we opened the door

Some flowers bloom on tall trees

Some of the fruit is deep underground."

Those flowers and fruits, whether on the high trees or deep underground, are full of charming fragrances in my heart.

The world is too lively. Sometimes, I subconsciously seek some sort of avoidance. This feeling is similar to the kind of "speed like walking" that Japanese director Hirokazu Kore-eda wanted.

A lot of things, insignificant, but very soft.

"Chinese Family Wealth" (CFW) turns two years old. Two years ago, on March 10, when the first article was published online, I chose the title "May Every Soul Have a Peaceful Way Out."

Material peace is not easy, and peace of soul is even more difficult. What cfW wants to do is to care about the wealth and life of a group of people. The target of attention we have chosen is the Chinese business family in transition.

From the perspective of wealth figures, this crowd stands at the spire of the wealth pyramid. Compared to the general public, they have a lot of wealth. Among them are traditional industrialists, financiers, and people in the new economy. Most of them, riding on the east wind of China's economic growth, have relied on wisdom and accumulated wealth through struggle.

What exactly does wealth mean? In conversations with them, I kept asking questions. Different people seem to have different answers.

These answers also contain their lives. Does material wealth necessarily mean happiness? Must it be synonymous with happiness? Yes, and obviously not. In the different answers, in the lives of individuals, I see more ordinary hopes and disappointments, and ordinary love and pain.

Despite their wealth, their souls, like every ordinary person around them, need to be soothed. Their families, like every ordinary family, need emotional connection.

Comforting sentient beings seems to be more of the work of monks and pastors. The most mortals like us can do is some warm little things.

The CFW is a small group of people whose genes lack wolf nature. Every little friend loves his job, is satisfied with a gentle life, and lacks ambition.

Such a group of people never clamor to change the world. Because there's not much new under the sun. Is this constantly changing world warmer and happier than ever? Maybe not.

The so-called people are divided into groups. I have to worry about the basic life of the people, and they will only occasionally sympathize with my complicated affairs, and still take care of what they are willing to do.

What everyone wants to do is to use the pen and camera in their hands to record and precipitate the life of a group of people. We look at such a life in the context of a big era.

Erasing the appearance brought about by time and space factors, I think that in the lives of a group of people, whether rich or poor, what is hidden is the truth of human beings.

In addition to the dialogue, we also try to integrate systematic knowledge to serve this group of people.

When the transformation and upgrading problems of family enterprises and the challenges of intergenerational inheritance of family wealth intersect, many people are actually very confused in their hearts.

Doubts need to be answered, not only about the fate of a business and a family, but also about an era and a longer-term direction.

We will also make some documentaries for Chinese business families and write some books about families.

Why do you do these things? The friends discussed it enthusiastically, and then there was the answer: because it makes sense.

What's the point?

In fact, every family is eager for the continuation and transmission of the family spirit, eager for the emotional connection between generations, and eager for the reputation of the family business.

The spirit of the family is a bowl, and the financial asset can only be regarded as the rice in the bowl - if the bowl has a crack, then the rice is likely to be missed.

Family marriage, property distribution, wealth inheritance, family charity, and special family assets are closely related to the family spirit and values. Behind these spiritual assets, there is also an emotional code for the family.

Our documentaries and books revolve around the keyword "home", not from the dimension of corporate management. In the context of "home", we quietly listen to the stories of many families, and also strive to present works with flesh and blood and emotion.

Our small partners, in Europe, in the United States, in Canada, and of course in China, use content products to connect Chinese families.

It's a very interesting and meaningful thing. So, we are full of enthusiasm.

CFW has gone through two years of road in the blink of an eye, like a seed, growing under the ground, and has broken through the soil to become a small seedling.

We water and fertilize.

At the time of CFW's two-year anniversary, I am still willing to quote the famous quote of the Greek poet Cavafis, which I like, to say my blessings:

May your path be long,

Full of wonders, full of discoveries.
