On October 30, Jiangxi had its first locally confirmed cases, and on October 31, November 1 and November 2, Jiangxi had a series of locally confirmed cases.

On November 3, Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, issued a notice saying that confirmed cases had been found.
On the evening of November 2, after receiving the duty report from the Jiangsu Provincial Health Commission on personnel who were positive for the nucleic acid test of the new crown pneumonia virus in Changzhou, Wu Zhenglong, secretary of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, issued instructions for immediate action and overnight work.
