Guangzhou Daily News (All-media reporter Bu Yu correspondent Yang Jin and Yang Changhong photo report) On the occasion of the 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity, the nature documentary "Nanling Story", co-produced by Shaoguan City, will be broadcast simultaneously on Guangdong Satellite TV and Tencent Video Documentary Channel on October 11. The film is the first nature documentary to reflect the biodiversity and rarity of the Nanling Mountains in Guangdong Province, and the wonderful life story.

It is understood that on October 11, the 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity, with the theme of "Ecological Civilization: Building a Community of Life on Earth", will be held in Kunming, Yunnan. This is an important meeting of the United Nations, but also an important international conference hosted by China this year, Shaoguan launched the film on this occasion, which is of great significance for people to further understand the natural ecology of Nanling, respect for the protection of the environment, and promote green development.

It is reported that "Nanling Story" was jointly initiated by the Propaganda Department of the Shaoguan Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China and the relevant film and television companies in Shenzhen in early 2018, and the Guangdong Forestry Bureau, the Guangdong Nanling National Protected Area Management Bureau, Guangdong Satellite TV and other units participated in the production. The film production team lasted more than 3 years, gathered a number of well-known documentary photographers, wildlife researchers, nature observation instructors, Nanling bird guides and so on in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and other places, overcoming the harsh natural environmental conditions and the unfavorable factors brought about by the new crown pneumonia epidemic, and continued to shoot for nearly 1,000 days and nights, covering 8 nature reserves in Nanling, Guangdong.

"Nanling Story" takes the four seasons of Nanling as the time axis and the story of species life as the main axis, and through vivid and delicate wonderful pictures, it shows the diverse and rare species life stories of the natural ecosystem of Nanling in a story-based, all-round and multi-angle manner. The film is divided into three episodes: "Rare", "Survival" and "Feather Love", with a total duration of about 75 minutes.

According to reports, the film is filmed by all the staff stationed in Nanling, field search and tracking, day and night crouch observation, group multi-camera multi-angle and other shooting methods, while using aerial photography, submarine shooting, remote shooting, infrared, 4-6K, slide rail, macro, probe, high speed, time delay and other methods for shooting.

Professional photographers have carefully followed and photographed the natural ecological images of many second-level protected wild animals such as the Chinese pangolin, mangshan original spearhead viper, crocodile lizard, Hainan snapper, yellow-bellied horned pheasant, white crane, golden-beaked phoenix butterfly, and many other second-level protected wild animals such as Tibetan chief monkeys, king cobras, white ibises, fairy eight-colored owls, blue-throated bee tigers, yellow-legged fishing owls, and red-bellied eagles. Among them, many of the images are taken for the first time at home and abroad and presented in high definition, which is particularly precious. In December 2020, the sample film "Nanling Story" won the "Top Ten" works of the China (Guangzhou) Documentary Festival International Proposal Conference.
