I was afraid that I would indulge in this, linger, and delay the important matter of governing the country, so I changed my original intention and decided not to come to the banquet. ”

King Chuzhuang did not go to Jingtai for a banquet in order to restrain his desire for pleasure. Because King Chu Zhuang could pay attention to maintaining a certain distance from the object of desire, he was able to become a king who ruled the country well after ascending the throne, "three years without sound, one hit; three years without flying, one soaring into the sky".
