Aren't the people now living under dire conditions? In this case, the use of Confucian political concepts to govern is somewhat slow and ineffective, bringing people a peaceful life. Stabilizing the people with a policy of moderation and calm may solve the fundamental problem.
Several of the Eight Immortals are recorded in the historical documents of the Tang Dynasty, and several are mentioned in other biographies. Although the Taoism of each immortal is different, they are all free from the troubles of the world, and they are always carried out with the purpose of cultivating morality and purifying the body and mind. Today, the two parties of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China have joined hands to resist Japan and save the country, and all aspects of construction cannot be carried out without a quiet governance policy and a quiet heart. Once the mind is quiet, it will put the interests of the state in the first place, do not seek personal gain, do not harm oneself, and put personal problems to be solved later.
