According to the local media quoted Kruger National Park spokesman Farah as saying, the torrential rains have caused the river level to rise, many lower bridges have been submerged in the water, and the gravel roads and camps in many bush areas have become unusable.

Farah said that before the storm, the tourists in the park had been evacuated urgently, and no accidents had occurred so far. He also believes that many animals have survived, as they usually flee to higher ground before storms strike.

Farah said, "Although there are no casualties at the moment, we must remain highly alert because the danger may be behind us." At present, the technical team of the park has begun to tour the park to assess the damage caused by "Eloise", and will update the information immediately after the report is completed.

The report pointed out that although the rain is slowing down, the water level is still high, and the park cannot receive any guests for the time being. The South African Meteorological Service has also issued warnings to the provinces where Kruger National Park is located, as well as many nearby provinces, to prevent continued heavy rain.
