Tadashi Akiyama

Born in 1964 in Tokyo, Japan, he graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts with a degree in design. His work "Incredible Carnival" (Kodansha) won the 14th Kodansha Picture Book Newcomer Award. Hurry up and sleep! (Iwasaki Shoten) won the 1995 Japan Picture Book Award.
