Wu Denglun said that after dissecting the dead Burmese star turtle, we found that the baby star turtle had white deposits in its bladder, no food in the stomach, and the esophagus was atrophied. Therefore, it is judged that these little star turtles are dehydrated and dead. At present, the staff has released more than 1,700 Burmese star turtles to the reserve, in order to ensure that the star turtles will not die of dehydration, the staff has released watermelons, hollow cabbage and so on in the reserve. At the same time, the staff is also conducting medical examinations for other star turtles.
It is understood that the Reesedo Nature Reserve is the original habitat of the Burmese star turtle. At present, Myanmar's Recedo Nature Reserve, Loga Nanda Park and Minsong Mountain Nature Reserve all have Burmese star turtles inhabiting. After years of hard work, the breeding of Burmese star turtles has achieved good results. On May 20, the Breeding Center of The Raisedo Nature Reserve successfully bred 63 Burmese star turtles.
