From October 17th to 18th, the yunnan final of the 2021 China Innovation Method Competition with the theme of "stimulating innovation vitality and promoting self-reliance and self-reliance" was successfully held in Kunming. The competition is sponsored by Yunnan Provincial Association for Science and Technology and Yunnan Provincial Science and Technology Department, and organized by Yunnan Provincial Science Popularization Resource Information Center (Enterprise work center of Yunnan Science and Technology Association). In his speech, Wang Yan pointed out that the China Innovation Method Competition is a special competition designated by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, a competition for the exchange of innovative achievements and the in-depth promotion and application of innovative methods by front-line scientific and technological workers of enterprises, and has built a stage for scientific and technological workers to carry forward the culture of innovation, stimulate creative vitality, enhance the level of innovation, and display innovative style. It is hoped that relevant enterprises and units in our province will take this competition as an opportunity to conscientiously implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, especially the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on scientific and technological innovation, talent growth, and the work of the Association for Science and Technology, accelerate the construction of a new platform for innovation and entrepreneurship of service enterprises, focus on improving the innovation awareness, innovation ability and innovation level of enterprises in the province, provide scientific and technological, technological and talent support for the innovative development of enterprises in our province, and promote the high-quality development of our province.

This year's competition further optimized and integrated the resources of all parties, and a total of 70 teams and a total of 210 people in the province registered to participate. The participating projects cover chemical, new materials, new energy, machinery, plateau agriculture, food processing and other industries, and the quality of works has been significantly improved compared with previous editions. The finals were conducted by theoretical testing, on-site project display, expert questioning and debate, reviewed by 3 top domestic TRIZ theoretical experts, and each participating team introduced the project background, problem analysis, application of innovative methods, problem solving ideas, etc. through PPT, and experts asked questions and scored on the spot.
After a fierce competition, Yunnan Yuntianhua Red Phosphorus Chemical Co., Ltd. "reduce the packaging temperature of diammonium phosphate products", Yunnan Power Grid Co., Ltd. Honghe Power Supply Bureau "urban ring grid cabinet maintenance technology and complete sets of equipment research", Honghe Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. "improve the intensity of sinter under low-quality raw fuel conditions", Yunnan Wenshan Aluminum Co., Ltd. "alumina dissolution process pipeline thickness measurement robot research and development and application" 4 projects won the first prize. The four projects will represent Enterprises in Yunnan Province in the 2021 National Finals of the China Innovative Approach Competition to be held in Tianjin in November.
