In fact, the deep integration of the industrial Internet with network information technologies such as digital twins, 5G, and artificial intelligence is accelerating the deep integration with the real economy such as manufacturing. At the same time, technology is also driving the process of industrial digitalization. According to the "Digital China Development Report (2020)" released by the Cyberspace Administration of China, the digitalization process of China's industry has been accelerated and upgraded, and the numerical control rate of key processes and the penetration rate of digital R&D and design tools in key manufacturing areas have increased from 45.7% and 61.8% in 2016 to 52.1% and 73% in 2020, respectively.

He Wenzhong explained that the institute took the 14 institutes of electrical science as an example to explain that the institute took the lead in building a demonstration workshop for intelligent manufacturing of electronic products in China, which has the three characteristics of all-digital production, full interconnection of information and full intelligence of management, achieved the intelligent production effect of raw materials and finished products, and realized the intelligent control of the production of complex electronic products. The digital transformation of equipment intelligent manufacturing has promoted the transformation of manufacturing methods from traditional manufacturing to flexible intelligent manufacturing based on digital twins, with a 4-fold increase in production capacity, a cost reduction of more than 50%, and a one-time pass rate of more than 97%, which is at the leading level in the industry.

"With the global new technology revolution, industrial chain restructuring and the implementation of the dual-carbon plan, the industry characteristics, organizational models and technical elements of the future factory are constantly exploring and evolving."
