On April 28th, the China Urban Governance Innovation Forum and "New Energy, New Governance, New Development" were held at the School of Government and Management of Peking University. Well-known experts, scholars and enterprise representatives from the field of urban governance attended and exchanged views. The forum was co-sponsored by the Institute of Urban Governance of Peking University and the China Urban Governance Innovation Alliance.
Energy is an indispensable element of the normal operation of the city, 80% of the world's energy consumption is concentrated in the city, and the problem of urban energy use poses a severe challenge for urban governance and energy upgrading and transformation. New energy is the key engine of China's future development, this forum with the theme of "new energy, new governance, new development", from the perspective of new energy and big data, Internet of Things and other new technologies to explore the modernization of urban governance, focusing on the application of new energy and big data, new energy Internet of Things perception system and urban governance construction, urban operation management and new energy applications, etc., to jointly explore the new energy application and urban governance modernization suitable for China's national conditions.

Lu Yong Allah Ren said in his speech: New energy has also brought some management problems after solving problems such as non-renewable traditional energy, and new modern technical means can help and use it in the construction and application process of new energy. In addition to energy, urban governance also involves medical care, education, health, safety, transportation and other aspects, "effective urban governance should be a pattern of benign interaction between government governance and social regulation and residents' autonomy, and should fully mobilize the enthusiasm of social resources and take the initiative to create and co-govern."
Shen Tiyan said in his speech that as one of the series of activities to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the founding of Peking University and the first anniversary of the establishment of the Institute of Urban Governance of Peking University, the Secretariat of the China Urban Governance Innovation Alliance held a theme forum on "New Energy, New Governance, New Development", aiming to jointly discuss the application of new energy in urban governance, as well as the new urban governance concept to make new energy better serve the people. Professor Shen Tiyan said that at present, China's urban governance cause is in the ascendant, and it is necessary for the government, enterprises and all sectors of society to work together to promote the continuous innovation of urban governance in China and even the world, and to promote the continuous improvement of the modernization level of urban governance.
Fan Jihong, director of R&D of State Power Investment Technology, general manager of the Science and Technology Management Department and director of the Big Data Center, made a keynote speech entitled "New Energy Construction and Big Data Application", he said that first, new energy makes urban development sustainable, only by organically combining clean energy such as wind power and solar energy with energy storage technology, through the electrification of the city, can the clean and sustainable development of urban energy be realized. Second, energy big data cities are more efficient. Using big data technology to change the group's traditional business model and build a smart energy system. In the speech, Director Fan also shared the application of new energy big data, such as power generation prediction and equipment management, multi-energy complementarity and other application scenarios.
In the subsequent report session, industry experts from Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co., Ltd., Beiming Software Co., Ltd., Taiji Computer Co., Ltd., and the Big Data Laboratory of the Urban Governance Research Institute of Peking University spoke and shared their experiences in the new energy IoT perception system, urban governance, and big data. At the end of the meeting, the appointment and awarding ceremony of the members and enterprises of the China Urban Governance Innovation Alliance was held.
