Recently, the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) released 11 creepy portraits, which were painted by famous serial killers in the United States, and the portraits were released to better identify the victims.
On the 3rd local time, the FBI published 11 sketches of female victims and asked the public to help determine their identities. The portrait was by samuel little, a 78-year-old serial killer. He admitted to committing 90 murders between 1970 and 2005 and claimed to be the most committed serial killer in U.S. history. Little was sentenced to life in prison for murder and is currently serving a sentence in a Texas prison.
The sketches are tinged with creepy details such as the color of the victim's eyes or hair, and the jewelry worn at the time of the murder. Britain's Daily Mail reported that one of the sketches depicted a 45-year-old white woman who was killed in Kendall, Florida, in 1973. Another painting depicts a 26-year-old white woman who was killed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1983 or 1984. Police are currently working actively to compare Little's confession with evidence of the women victimized. So far, law enforcement has been able to confirm more than 40 of the 90 murders he admitted.
According to the World Journal, Little was a former boxer with a height of about 1.83 meters. For decades, he committed crimes across the United States, mainly against drug addicts and prostitutes. He usually strangles the victim, and many of the dead are not identified as he killed, but are attributed to drug overdoses, accidents, or natural causes.
In 2012, Little was arrested at a homeless shelter in Kentucky and extradited to California to face drug charges. When Little was detained, authorities found out, based on DNA evidence, that he was linked to three murders that occurred in Los Angeles between 1987 and 1989. Three women were beaten to death and their bodies were dumped in alleys, dumpsters and garages. Little was sentenced to life in prison in 2014 for all three murders.
Meanwhile, the FBI has been conducting a full investigation into Little's background, finding that he may have been linked to other murders and to a murder in Odessa, Texas.
The FBI said Little was trying to get out of prison at the time, and the FBI agreed to negotiate whether Little could be resettled. However, he was eventually indicted in the Odessa murder case and extradited to Texas a few months later. Little then provided the authorities with a list of 90 women, as well as the names of the cities in which he attacked. The FBI said only Little could recall in detail the victims and the assay, but he was unclear about the exact dates.
The FBI said Little is currently in poor health and may remain in a Texas jail until his death. The FBI is working to identify the victims and to show justice by closing pending cases. (Overseas Network - USA - Jo Shanshan)
