Cause and condition are the basis of Buddhist philosophy. In Buddhist philosophy, "cause" is the cause of things, that is, from one prescriptiveness to another prescriptiveness, which is what we usually call "antecedent consequence"; "dependent" refers to the occasional encounter of two (or several) prescriptives, emphasizing the contingency of things touching together. From this explanation, it can be seen that the existence and occurrence of anything is the result of the interaction of "cause" and "condition". In this sense, Buddhism is no different from modern science, except that Buddhism uses "cause" and "condition" to explain the conditions and occasional chances of the existence of all things, and the existence and occurrence of everything in the world are "arising from causes."
