1. Preparation before brooding: The brooding room must be thoroughly rinsed and disinfected according to the procedure 2 weeks in advance. Preheat the brooding room 1 to 2 days before the chicks and check that the brooding device and room temperature reach the standard temperature.
2, drinking water and food: drink water after drinking, drink water with 5% glucose and antibiotics, electrolytes and multi-dimensional effect is good. 2 to 3 hours after drinking water, about 2/5 of the chicks can eat while foraging.
3, temperature and humidity: the temperature of the chicks should be gradually changed at each stage, the temperature of the chicks in 3 days should not be greater than 1 °C. The optimal temperature range in the late brooding period is 15 to 20 °C, generally 1-3 days old 33 ~ 34 °C, 3-4 days old 32 °C, 5-7 days old 31 °C, 2 weeks old 30 °C, 3 weeks old. 26 °C, 4 weeks old 22 °C, 5 weeks old 20 °C, 6 weeks old 18 °C humidity is 60% to 70% at 1 to 10 days, humidity is 55% to 60% after 10 days.
4. Reproductive density: the ideal density of 0 to 2 weeks old is 25/m2, and the ideal density of 3 to 6 weeks old is 15/m2.
5, lighting: under normal circumstances, the principle of using lighting during brooding is to reduce and then constant: from 1 to 3 days of 24-hour light, 4 watts per square meter of intensity. At the age of 4 days, the daily day and night irradiation time is shortened by 0.5 hours, and the illuminance is 3 W/m2. 5 hours of natural light at 5 weeks of age. 9 hours of natural light for 6 weeks. 7-8 weeks of age for 8 hours of natural light.
6, ventilation: the chicken coop to maintain proper ventilation, reduce the ammonia and water in the house, so that the house is warm and windless.
7. Nutrition: The energy concentration of the brood diet is 12.1~12.5 mj/kg, and the protein is 21%. After broiler chickens are 0 to 21 weeks old and 4 weeks old, the protein can be directly reduced to about 19%. Please refer to the breeding standards for each variety.
