The wonderful moment of the ballet "Swan Lake"

In 1871, at the age of thirty-one, Tchaikovsky came to his sister's house to take a small stay. As a good uncle, he decided to give his lovely nephews a special gift--- based on the german composer Mozzius's fairy tale "Swan Lake" (which tells the story of how a young knight defeated a demon, rescued a girl who was magically turned into a swan, and finally married him) that children usually read. In 1875, the composer's friend and artistic director of the Bolshoi Theater, V. Bekichev, asked Tchaikovsky to compose music for the large-scale dance play Swan Lake, promising to pay a reward of eight hundred rubles after the event was completed. For Tchaikovsky, who taught at the Moscow Conservatory of Music, who was only fifteen hundred rubles a year old, this was undoubtedly a huge amount. Of course, in addition to this, the desire to make some bold attempts in the field of ballet was also his main motivation for accepting this commission, which is why we had the opportunity to listen to the most popular ballet music of all time.

Below I will present to you some wonderful pictures of the ballet "Swan Lake":
