Wang Qingyun, 63, is no longer a member of the party group of the State General Administration of Sport

The official website of the State General Administration of Sport recently updated the "General Administration Leadership" column information, showing that Wang Qingyun, 63, is no longer a member of the party group of the General Administration.

At present, the members of the leading body of the State General Administration of Sport include: Gou Zhongwen, director of the bureau and secretary of the party leading group; Zhao Yong, Deputy Director and member of the party leading group; Cai Zhenhua, Gao Zhidan, and Li Yingchuan; Li Jianming, head of the discipline inspection group and member of the party group; and Du Zhaocai, assistant director and member of the party group.

Previously, Wang Qingyun ranked fourth in the leadership team of the General Administration of Sports as a member of the party group of the State General Administration of Sports, and was responsible for the party building work of sports social organizations.

According to the public resume of China Economic Network, Wang Qingyun was born in Dalian, Liaoning province in May 1955, and was born in Laizhou, Shandong.

Wang Qingyun has worked in the National Development and Reform Commission for a long time, and has served as the director of the Transportation Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, the director of the Department of Basic Industries, and the secretary of the Party Group and director of the State Material Reserve Bureau. In December 2009, Wang Qingyun was appointed as a member of the Party Group of the National Development and Reform Commission and the Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the State Material Reserve Bureau.

In 2012, Wang Qingyun was transferred to the State General Administration of Sport party group and the head of the discipline inspection and supervision team of the Central Discipline Inspection Commission in the State General Administration of Sports. In 2017, Li Jianming, former secretary of the Enshi Prefecture Party Committee in Hubei Province, succeeded Wang Qingyun as the head of the discipline inspection and supervision team of the Central Discipline Inspection Commission in the State General Administration of Sports, and Wang Qingyun continued to serve as a member of the party group of the General Administration.
