According to the "Central News Agency", Haitian President Moiz was killed in early July, and his funeral will be held on the 23rd. On the 21st, violent demonstrations broke out near Moiz's hometown, causing hundreds of workers in northern Haiti to abandon their jobs and flee elsewhere.

On the 22nd local time, the mourning activities in Moiz were held in the historical ancient city of Cape Haitian in the north of Haiti. Then, on the 23rd, Moiz's funeral will be held.

According to reports, on the 21st local time, witnesses said that a man was shot and killed in the town of Katye Mohan, which is close to the town of Trudunor, the birthplace of Moiz. There are obstacles on the road between the two towns, temporarily preventing cars from entering and leaving.

On the afternoon of the 22nd local time, the mass rally turned into a violent activity, protesters shot into the sky, threw stones, overturned concrete barricades near the coast, merchants closed their doors, and people looked for cover.

This is reportedly the first violent demonstration since Moiz was killed in his home on July 7, and Haiti's new prime minister, Henri, has just been sworn in with a pledge to form an interim government to restore social order and security. Compared with the northern region, the capital Port-au-Prince is relatively calm.

In addition, Moiz's widow Martina Moiz was also injured in the attack and returned to Haiti on the 17th after receiving treatment in Florida, USA. On the 21st, she made a public appearance in Port-au-Prince, but did not speak.

Martina met with officials near the National Hall of Fame Museum in Haiti that day, dressed in a black dress and a black mask, accompanied by her three children. The museum was in the process of commemorating Moiz.
