A book worth collecting and reading

Recently read a few novels, only to find that these novels are so good, much more interesting than during school, these stories are derived from life, and higher than life, read as immersive, but there is no certain experience and can not appreciate the deep meaning of the article, I admire the author who can write such a profound and complete story, presumably the author himself may have experienced some things, in order to write so real.

1. "Cultural Journey"

"Cultural Journey" is a collection of essays by contemporary scholar and writer Yu Qiuyu. First published in 1992, it is the first collection of cultural essays written by Mr. Yu Qiuyu during his lectures and expeditions at home and abroad in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The book mainly includes four parts, namely the beginning of the dream, the journey to China, the journey to the world, and the journey of life. The first reason for writing this book was inspired by an old American professor who was not old and childlike. Although the professor is old, he ventures through many ethnic minority areas in southwest China, which makes the author germinate the vision of re-understanding the motherland and generate reflections and pursuits on Chinese culture. Secondly, it should be a kind of comfort for the author to himself and to society. The author aspires to liberate his soul and contribute to Chinese culture during his journey. Therefore, in the year of confusion, Yu Qiuyu resolutely resigned from his official post and walked out of the study hall and began a cultural journey. Although it is a hard journey, it is very enjoyable to read, and it is very amazing that the author has been to the place, which is full of the thickness of history and the grandeur of nature, which makes people yearn for it.

2. "Those Things of the Ming Dynasty"

"Those Things of the Ming Dynasty", an online serial historical novel, written by Mingyue of that year, mainly tells some stories about the Ming Dynasty in the three hundred years from 1344 to 1644. Based on historical materials, with the era and specific characters as the main line, and added the brushwork of the novel, the language is humorous and funny. It gives a panoramic display of the fate of the Seventeenth Emperor of the Ming Dynasty and other princes and magnates and small figures, especially on official politics, war, and imperial psychology, and adds the interpretation of the political and economic system and human morality at that time. The originally complex history has become an interesting story under the author's pen, using the modern literati to tell the ancient story, interesting and vivid, but also let me have a deeper understanding of the history of the Ming Dynasty.

3. "The Catcher in the Wheat Field"

The Catcher in the Rye is the only novel by American writer Jerome David Salinger, who limits the beginning and end of the story to the three days of 16-year-old middle school student Holden Calfield wandering around New York, and draws on the flow of consciousness's whimsical writing method to fully explore the inner world of a teenager. Anger and anxiety are the two major themes of this book, and the protagonist's experience and thoughts resonate strongly among teenagers and are warmly welcomed by readers, especially the majority of middle school students.

4. "Yongzheng Emperor"

"Yongzheng Emperor" is the second part of the "Emperor Series" of February River, which spans the history of Kang, Yong, and Qiancheng and then decades, and successfully describes the magnificent life of the Yongzheng Emperor. The Yongzheng Emperor was one of the most accomplished emperors in Chinese history and one of the most controversial, and various legends prevailed from his ascension to the throne to his death. For hundreds of years, the Yongzheng Emperor's head has been shrouded in mysterious and mysterious mysteries. As one of the three outstanding emperors who founded the "Kangqian Shengshi" of the Qing Dynasty, Yongzheng lived between the two longest-reigning emperors, namely the Kangxi Emperor, who reigned for 61 years, and qianlong, the son of the Wind and Fortune Who reigned for 60 years.

This book has been adapted into a TV series, and friends who do not like to read books can search for the TV series of the same name.

6. "The Water of the Waves"

The Water of the Waves is a novel published by the People's Literature Publishing House in 2003, written by Yan Zhen. This book mainly tells the story of Chi Dawei, as an intellectual, who once had lofty ideals, regarded his father as an idol, and was indifferent to fame and fortune, but after entering the workplace, he was repeatedly frustrated, and under the enlightenment of his wife and colleague Teacher Yan, he put down the self-esteem and pursuit of intellectuals, became a new person, and finally had to cater to the reality of choosing interests.

7. "Silent Confession"

It is the first novel written by Wu Qishi in six years, the story is exquisitely arranged and meticulous, the writing is calm and introverted, and once it was published, it was widely acclaimed, becoming the most powerful and highly anticipated dark horse in 2014. As a Chinese-American, the author truly feels racism in the United States and brings it into the novel, just like Lydia's father in the text, although he became a tenured professor at the university, he will still be misunderstood as a foreigner.
