A small reporter from Wuhu visited the Arts and Crafts Factory
Iron painting, also known as "Wuhu iron painting", it was born in Wuhu, founded in the Qing Kangxi period, has a history of more than 300 years. In contemporary times, the art of iron painting has been further developed and included in the national intangible cultural heritage list, which is not only a favorite craft ornament, but also displayed in the national parlor for guests from all over the world to enjoy. As a Wuhu person, how can you not feel the unique charm of the folk craft known as "China's best"?
On the morning of October 30, 40 young reporters came to Wuhu Arts and Crafts Factory, not only admired many exquisite paintings by famous artists, witnessed the production process of iron paintings, but also experienced themselves and became small craftsmen.
In the Wuhu Iron Painting History Exhibition Hall, through the explanations of the staff in the museum, everyone learned that the founders of iron painting were Tang Peng, a blacksmith during the Kangxi Dynasty of the Qing Dynasty, and Xiao Yuncong, a painter of the Guyi School, and knew that iron painting is made of hammer as pen, iron as ink, anvil as paper, and wrought iron as a painting. Iron paintings, paint paintings and grass paintings are known as the "Three Paintings of Wuhu", of which the paintings of heap lacquer have been lost, which makes people regret it. The iron painting art exhibition hall on the first floor is furnished with iron painting works from 40 to 50 years ago, and the character paintings, landscape paintings, animal and plant paintings are astounding. One of the treasures of the town hall, "Green Bamboo Weeping Shade", is even more amazing, and the bamboo leaves cast in iron can sway with the wind, reflecting the profound technical foundation and high artistic value. The iron painting art museum on the second floor is decorated with iron paintings from nearly 20 years, which are different from before, including the modern style masterpiece "Flowers Blossom rich and noble", and the long volume of "Fuchun Mountain Jutu" that took two years to create, which opened the eyes of young journalists!
After visiting the exhibition hall, the young reporters went to the forging workshop and the studios of Zhou Junwu and Teng Gongyong, where they witnessed the thin wires in the hands of the craftsmen and turned into beautiful "plum blossoms" through forging and welding. Enthusiastic craftsmen also handed over hammers for the little reporters to experience for themselves, and the small pieces of iron gradually became exquisite crafts after hammering, and the small reporters smiled and blossomed.
