The Sun: Arsenal consider a winter window loan for Chamberlain and then buy it out next summer

According to the Newspaper Sun, Arsenal are considering a winter window loan for Chamberlain before officially buying it out next summer.

Chamberlain joined Arsenal from Southampton in 2011 and joined Liverpool in 2017 after six years with the team. But due to injuries, Chamberlain's chances at Liverpool in the last two seasons have not been many, and his current contract with the team expires in 2023.

The Sun said Liverpool were willing to let go of a player who had come after Curtis Jones and Elliott, but they would like to receive a transfer fee.

Arsenal are considering loaning Chamberlain in the winter window and then buying him out next summer, with Arteta hoping Chamberlain's experience will help young players such as Saka, Smith Rowe, Odegaard and Martinelli. Meanwhile, Xhaka suffers an injury and Ernenni and Thomas are due to attend the Africa Cup of Nations next January, with Chamberlain able to help Arsenal in midfield.

Chamberlain is also willing to return to Arsenal, welcoming his first child with Perry Edwards in August, and returning to London to play football also benefits his private life.
