Torthu Timur,

He was exiled by his uncle at the age of one or ten, and his teenage life will never be forgotten. Tuoba Timur was born on April 17, 1320, in the Area of Jinshan, part of the Northwest Chagatai Khanate. He was the fifth grandson of Kublai Khan, the grandson of Emperor Wuzong of Yuan, and the eldest son of Emperor Mingzong of Yuan and Shi Yao. In 1329, his uncle Emperor Wenzong broke the covenant and renounced righteousness, poisoning Heshi Andshi to death in Wang Kuchadu. In July 1330, Emperor Wonmunjong exiled Tuoba Timur to Goryeo and imprisoned him. In December 1331, he was sent from Goryeo to take back Tuoba Timur and exile him to Guilin, Guangxi. Living in the Dayuan Temple in Guilin, Tuoba Timur was taught by the elder QiuJiang of the temple to study the Analects and the Book of Filial Piety and practice writing twice a day. Later, when Tuoba Timur was recalled to Dadu, he also hid the books and stationery he used for his studies in a small leather box and looked at them at any time. Tuoba Timur's personality is also lively and active, often digging the ground as a burrow, peeing in it, and then living into mud and making various toys. He also likes to raise "octagonal birds", sometimes birds fly to the dead branches of the pond, and Toto Timur can't take off his boots and go into the water to catch them, and elder Qiujiang has stopped them many times. He also often became the king of children, leading twenty or thirty children to make paper flagpoles and plant them in the city. Elder QiuJiang also paid attention to cultivating the words and deeds of Tuoba Timur, and taught him: "The prince is the golden branch of the country, no more than the ordinary people, and when he sees a high official, he must not speak in vain, nor can he not be self-respecting." Therefore, whenever an official came to inspect the temple, Tuoba Timur sat precariously, and once the official left, he would play as before, so it was "reluctant for a while, and it was not cultivated." After Tuoba Timur ascended the throne, in order to repay the kindness of Elder Qiujiang, he not only gave a great reward, but also changed the Dayuan Temple into a hall of longevity.

Tortoise Timur

Second, Shu Liu's last words wanted to return to the throne, and he ascended the throne in three twists and turns to become emperor. After ascending the throne as Emperor Wenzong expelled Tuoba Timur, he made his son Arathanadara crown prince in December 1330, but the crown prince died a month later. This was undoubtedly a heavy blow to the Yuan Wenzong couple, who believed in Tibetan Buddhism and believed in karma, and although they also had a son, Yan Thegusi, Wenzong's last words when he died in August 1332: "It is reasonable to pass the throne to Emperor Mingzong's eldest son, Tumu Timur." In this way, after I died, I also had an explanation to Emperor Mingzong. At that time, the ruler of the imperial government, the Taiping King Yan Timur, did not establish the elder Tuoba Timur, but established the younger son of Emperor Mingzong in Dadu, Yi Xuanban (Toru Timur's half-brother), but unexpectedly, in November of that year, Emperor Yuanning died. Yan Timur wanted to succeed Yan Thegusi, but Emperor Wenzong of Yuan's empress Dowager Bu Dawuli insisted on establishing Themu'er. Therefore, he sent Zhongshu Zuo Cheng Kuoligis to Guilin to pick up Tuoba Timur and return to Beijing. After arriving in Dadu, he was not made emperor, and the yuan throne was vacant for half a year. During this half-year period, Bu Da lost his position in the dynasty, and Yan Timur's power also reached its peak. In May 1333, When Timur of Yan died of excessive indulgence, Bu Daburi decided to formally appoint his son Timur as the heir to Timur.

Third, it is difficult to return to the sky, and it is necessary to follow the trend and live first. Tuoba Timu'er was called emperor at the age of thirteen, reigned for more than thirty years, and according to the operation of his government, he still had a lot of experience in ruling, taking advantage of the contradictions within the ruling class, and the power and vassals fell on each other to strengthen their rule. Historian Qiu Shusen commented: "From the time he ascended to the throne of the emperor, from the time he himself came to power, in the past 30 years of political career, it seems that the two people were judged: the first Tohuan Timur was combined with detachment, leaving the image of a young emperor who was once alive, determined to eliminate maladministration, and had achievements in history, and the other Tohuan Timur was combined with Hama and Xi Sijian, which was an absurd, incompetent, and civil strife-making emperor. In 1368, Zhu Yuanzhang ordered a large-scale attack on the capital of the Yuan Dynasty, Dadu, and Emperor Huizong of Yuan fled in a hurry, retreating north without resistance, creating a miracle of the full retreat of the previous dynasty regime in Chinese history. Ming dynasty historians believed that he was obedient to the will of Heaven, so in the Ming Dynasty history books all called Yuan Shun Emperor Yuan Huizong, who died of illness in Yingchang in 1370 at the age of 50.
