Xu Renmusu was friendly with Ding Bing, and Ding Bing's "Records of the Collection of Books in the Book Room of The Good Books" contained the old banknote "New Book of The Sayings", which was compiled by Xu Yan, and Ding Bingba said: "My friend Xu Renbo Guangwen Jie, the grandson of the Duke, has been appended to the back. The "Bibliography of Eight Thousand Volumes of Lou" also contains sixteen volumes of "Jiaochuan Poetry Continuation Banknote", which was compiled by Xu Renmu and Jiang Xuejian in cooperation, and the book was written after Cao Zongzai's compilation of "Jiaochuan Poetry Banknote".

During Xu Renmu's tenure as a teacher at Pinghu, he also visited the local scholar Lu Longqi's suicide note of nearly 200 volumes, which was compiled into the "Complete Book of Lu Zi". In the course of his visit, Ding Bing had made the remains of Lu Longqi in his collection for his use, and the "Annals of the Emperors of the First Examination Songsheng Province" (1866) contained ding Bing's supervision of the tomb of Lu Qingxian's ancestral hall, and also contained: "In March, Haining Xu Renbo Zhang, Si Xunping Lake, both the "LuZi Quanshu" was compiled, the "Jinglu Zhi Compilation" was re-compiled, and the Fujun was compiled by the Collection of Books. Qiantang Ding's 8,000-scroll building, Changshu Qu's iron qin bronze sword building, Shandong Liaocheng Yang's Haiyuan Pavilion, Zhejiang Gui'an Lu's Song Building and is known as the "four major library buildings of the late Qing Dynasty".
