In order to carry forward the spirit of "serving the country through aviation" and commemorate Mr. Feng Ru, a pioneer of China's aviation industry, the first "Feng Ru Cup" National Aviation Knowledge Contest for College Students sponsored by AVIC Media was officially launched in October 2021 by the China Aviation Education Society as the guiding unit.
On September 21, 1909, the then 25-year-old Feng Ru flew the aircraft "Feng Ru No. 1" designed and built by himself into the blue sky, which became the beginning of China's aviation history. For more than 110 years, China's aviation industry has grown from scratch and from weak to strong, and has embarked on a self-reliant and independent innovation aviation development path.

In order to carry forward the spirit of serving the country through aviation among college students, popularize aviation science knowledge, and gather youth strength for building an aviation power, AVIC Media initiated and hosted this aviation knowledge competition.
