It is expected that this year, the city's citrus large fruit fly will occur moderately to heavily (grade 4); the first peak period of adult insect return to the park (the first application time of adult insect booby traps) will be mostly in early June, and the specific time is subject to the monitoring results of the progress of feathering excavation in various places, and the occurrence period this year is slightly late as last year.
2. Basis for forecasting
(1) The number of insect populations has decreased compared with last year. Last year, the city's citrus fruit fly prevention and control work was better, and the insect and fruit rate was less than 0.3%, the lowest in recent years; the base of wintering pupae was correspondingly small.
(2) The first sight of feathering excavation is slightly late in the previous year.
The first excavation of feathering in Niejiahe Town was seen on May 3, while the feathering of most township monitoring points was first unearthed on May 10, and the feathering excavation was mostly in mid-May.
(3) Favorable occurrence of meteorological conditions. In May, the temperature of the city is suitable, sunny and rainy, and the soil moisture content is moderate, which is conducive to the feathering of adult insects. In addition, the rainy weather from June to July increases the difficulty of spraying and affects the prevention and control effect.
(4) The area of "unmanned" citrus has increased. Citrus orchards in the suburban land requisition and demolition areas, reservoir areas, scattered production areas, border production areas, migrant households, non-labor households, etc. are unattended, and have become a dead end for the prevention and control of citrus flies.
III. Opinions on Prevention and Control
(1) Careful monitoring
Strengthen the observation of the progress of the feathering excavation of citrus large fruit fly, fully grasp the progress of feathering excavation, accurately grasp the heyday of adult insect return to the garden, and scientifically guide the booby trap and control of adult insects. According to the current observation data, the first adult trap in the city was preliminarily determined to be around June 8.
(2) Booby traps adults.
1. Sweet and sour liquor booby trap. Use 3-5% brown sugar + 3-5% vinegar + 3-5% wine + 90% crystalline insect 800 times aqueous solution to mix into a medicinal solution, spray 1/3 of the citrus tree 1/3 canopy, once in 7-10 days, spray more than 4 times.
2. Food traps booby traps. With Orange Feng brand big fruit fly food attractant 1 kg mixed with 10% acetamidine mixed with water 15 kg or 0.1% avermectin bait 180 g mixed with two parts of water to mix into a liquid, spray 10 points per mu, 0.5-1.0 square meters per point, 7-10 days once, spray more than 4 times.
3. Sticky killing. Stick to the bottle with a citrus large solid fly ball trap or various adhesives.
4. For serious orange orchards, 5% acetamidine emulsion 1000 times liquid can be used to spray the whole garden, once every 7-10 days, and spray more than 4 times.
(3) Disposal of insect fruits. From September to November, once every 3 days, thoroughly pick up the unripe first yellow fruit and the ground fruit, and concentrate on processing. Treatment method: put the insect fruit into a special plastic bag to prick the mouth, or in the centralized hardening treatment pool, a layer of fruit and a layer of lime or pesticide stuffiness.
