The Shaanxi Blind Football Team is mainly composed of students from Xi'an Blind And Dumb School and some imported athletes, and the 47-year-old head coach Zhang Yi loved football when he was young.
In 1996, Zhang Yi lost his left arm in the line of duty, but he did not lose his decadence. In 2005, he used his football expertise to set up a blind football team at the Xi'an Blind School where he taught, and Zhang Yi took the blind football team with him for 16 years. The team has participated in two Paralympic Final Stage matches and several national championships, and four players have been selected for the National Blind Football Youth Team.

The goalkeeper is only allowed to touch the ball inside the small penalty area or be judged foul. To ensure fairness, blind athletes must wear thickened eye masks to prevent injuries. When competing, athletes touching the blindfold requires the consent of the referee.
Blind athletes rely entirely on sound to act in the game, so there are 6 sets of bells inside the football used in the game, which is convenient for players to listen to and judge.
In the game, each team has a guide who directs the attack behind the opposing goal to help the players determine the direction of the goal. In addition to the facilitators, the head coaches of each team can also direct from the sidelines.
The sideline of blind football is a baffle, so there is no sideline ball, only a bottom line. The ball touching the baffle is also a way for blind players to judge the position of the ball.
