"Fang Xin Lesson" 2

author:Cool Ye Fan

After saying this legend, Professor Fang Xin finally saw that the classmate showed a look of approval for his knowledge, but then, the classmate asked him a question: "So Professor, what is more powerful than the nine dogs and one mastiff?" ”

"Wow..." There was an uproar in the classroom, some people said that this classmate was too drilling the tip of the horn, breaking the sand pot to ask the end, and some people said that the classmate's dead brain would not turn, a tendon, but more people were marveling, just a kind of mastiff, there are countless legends and secrets. They all expected that Professor Fang Xin would be able to solve this answer.

Professor Fang Xin began to wipe the sweat from his forehead, he did not expect that this classmate's understanding of the Tibetan mastiff was so deep. He could see that the stout man in the middle, with a characteristic plateau red on his face, that thick skin and angular eyebrows, and all kinds of physical characteristics, bluntly told others that he was a Tibetan, even if not a Tibetan, but also an authentic plateau man who had lived on the plateau for a long time. Telling the story of the mastiff in front of the Tibetans seems to be a bit of a class axe, but Fang Xin, after all, is a professor, and he can't always plant a heel in front of the students, and the other party is still a freshman taking his own class for the first time.

Professor Fang Xin straightened his glasses, and whenever he was ready to seriously deal with something or think deeply, he liked to hold his glasses. For a while, all the students held their breath, as if they were watching a duel between two masters, and as soon as they spoke or asked questions, they disrupted the atmosphere of the scene. Professor Fang Xin's face did not change color, first staring at the ceiling, then staring at the big man, who did not seem to want to mention the word, and finally said slowly: "Yes, more powerful than the nine dogs and one mastiff, who has the highest status in Tibetan areas, is called - war mastiff!" ”

As soon as Fang Xin's voice fell, some students couldn't help but whisper. Fang Xin continued: "The so-called war mastiff, as the name suggests, is a mastiff used in combat. The status of the war mastiff in Tibetan areas is similar to the mount of the bodhisattva in the ancient myths and legends of our country, and its identity is equivalent to that of the holy elephant in Thailand, which can only be raised by the most exalted people in Tibetan areas, and ordinary people cannot and dare not have. The war mastiff is actually nine dogs and one mastiff, which is a fine selection of mastiffs strictly selected by heaven or manpower, and with the experience of successive generations of mastiff masters, it has been trained to be the most intelligent, loyal to its master, the most aggressive and the most effective mastiff. For example, wolfhounds, students must have seen more or less, police dogs, everyone also knows that most of the police dogs are wolf dogs, but an ordinary domestic wolfhound and a police dog fighting, even if the body shape, height is similar, but the probability of the police dog winning is much greater. Because they are rigorously trained to know how to launch an attack is the most effective. In fact, to put it bluntly, just like us people, we are all human beings, but there are athletes and ordinary people, such as telling you to go and lift weights with the weightlifting champion, and you can't lift the weight that a weightlifting champion can lift. It is said that the selected nine dogs and one mastiff, which is very stubborn in its wild nature, is one of the three most difficult animals in the world to tame, because it is arrogant and it is very difficult to make it convinced. However, once successfully tamed the mastiff, its submission to its master is stronger than the loyalty of the ordinary mastiff, even more touching than our love story. When I was inspecting Tibetan areas, there was once such a thing, the hunter Ngawang Pucai, who used to be a hunter who raised war mastiffs for toast, became the leader of the Tibetan hunting team after liberation, and he had a war mastiff called Dorji. When his teammates transported his body home, Dorji, who was originally chained to the stone pillar by the thickness of his thumb, suddenly broke free of the chain like a madman, and there were six or seven excellent hunters, completely shocked by its momentum, and three people were overturned on the spot, and no one else dared to come forward. It kissed the tip of Awang's nose and licked Awang's forehead, and it seemed to sense from the cold corpse what death meant. Dorjee stood guard like that, refusing anyone to go near Awang, and it stood there like a stone statue, and if anyone tried to get close, it would raise the mane on the collar to warn.

Awang was dragged to the door by Dorji, and Dorji began to refuse to eat anything, and his mouth kept whimpering, it did not know what death was, but it had been trying to wake up old Awang. Five days and five nights, when one of the bravest hunters approached Dorji again, he found that it was already dead, and he squatted down next to old Ngawang, looking up at the sky with his head up. That posture it had, over the years, I couldn't forget. Speaking of this, Professor Fang Xin choked up a little, and many students in the audience also burst into tears.

At this time, the bell had already sounded, Professor Fang Xin spread his hands, breathed heavily, and said: "Originally, there were many legends about Tibetan mastiffs, but today there is no time, I can only leave you with a sad ending, well, if everyone is interested, come back tomorrow." "Everyone complained that the time passed too quickly, but they had no choice but to leave, and the next class other teachers and classmates had to use this classroom."

When the students got up and left, Fang Xin stopped the big man who asked the question and asked, "That classmate, wait a minute, what is your name?" ”

"His name is Zhuo Muqiangpa." Someone next to me helped answer. But Zhuo Muqiangba raised his head at this time and proudly said, "My name is Qiangba, Zhuo muqiangba." ”

Fang Xin nodded, "Oh, it's a Tibetan, where do you live in Tibet?" ”

Zhuo Muqiangba smiled and said, "Guwei people, Davanutso village." ”

Fang Xin's face changed, "No wonder, you are so familiar with mastiffs, it turns out that you came from mastiff village." He knew that Guwei Township was the most remote place in Tibetan areas, and only that place still retained a small number of purebred mastiffs, which were also called Mastiff Townships, but even he had never heard of Dawanutso Village. You know, Tibet has two million square kilometers, but it has a population of less than two million, and the area of each village can sometimes be larger than a prefecture-level city. Zhuo Muqiangba exhaled and said, "The professor's research on mastiffs does make me admire, but I originally wanted to ask Professor Fang if he had heard of the legend of the purple unicorn." But the professor didn't seem to know. ”

Fang Xin frowned and searched hard for his memory, but he had no impression at all, Fang Xin was very confident in his memory, as long as he had heard of it, he must have an impression, but he did not, not at all.

Fang Xin finally bowed his head, which was also the first time he bowed his head in front of students, but as a scholar, he was happy to bow to academia, especially the scholarship that he had not dabbled in and belonged to the scope of his research. He said lightly, "Oh, it seems that I really don't know anything about this aspect, do you have time to have a light meal together?" Can you tell us about the Purple Unicorn? What kind of dog is it? Also a genus of Tibetan mastiffs? As far as I know, there is no purple in the Tibetan mastiff. ”

Zhuo Muqiangba grinned, "Thank you Professor for the invitation, let's go." ”

Therefore, during the banquet, Zhuo Muqiangpa told Professor Fang Xin the story of the Purple Qilin, and he lightly started from the teachings: "The early Tibetans, who were not fooled, had a wild habit, were good at force, had many disputes throughout the ages, and fought incessantly, until Guanyin Bodhisattva appeared and incarnated, enlightened the ancestors with teachings, and in 629 AD, the thirty-third Tsamppu succeeded to the throne, quickly centralized the central authorities, swept away the Eight Harmonies, followed the teachings, respected the Buddha, and was kind to the people..."
