Cao Dayuan won the China-Japan-South Korean Yuan Championship for the second consecutive year

Hangzhou, 29 Mar (Xinhua) -- After three days of competition, the final of the second China-Japan-South Korea Go Veterans Tournament ended on 29 March in Changxing, Zhejiang Province, and the previous champion Cao Dayuan successfully defended his title by defeating Nie Weiping in the black mid-game.

A total of 8 players were invited, including two players from China, Japan and Korea, as well as the previous champion and runner-up Cao Dayuan and Koichi Kobayashi. In the first round, Nie Weiping defeated the famous Japanese chess player Koichi Kobayashi to advance easily, while Ma Xiaochun and Cao Dayuan also defeated their opponents in the first round of matches.
