Earlier, Ren Zhengfei had said that the move was to prevent malicious preemptive registration, the first time "public power and private use", apologizing to all employees. Now, the trademark application has come down, and netizens have directly fried the pan.
Huawei successfully registered the Yao Anna trademark
According to the Tianyancha app, recently, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. applied for a number of "Yao Anna" trademarks successfully registered, the relevant trademark application was in January 2021, the international classification involves education and entertainment, advertising sales, communication services, etc.
Previously, some yao anna trademarks had been rejected.
According to public information, Yao Anna is the younger daughter of Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei, the child of Ren Zhengfei and his second wife Yao Lingsheng, formerly known as Yao Siwei, born on January 14, 1998 in Kunming, Yunnan Province, graduated from Harvard University majoring in computer engineering and statistics.
On January 10, 2021, he signed a contract with Tianhao Shengshi; on January 14, at 10:00 a.m., he officially announced his debut on his personal Weibo.

On February 3, some media revealed that Huawei issued the "Notes on the Trademark Registration of Yao Anna, the Company's Agent", in the internal Voice community. The explanation said, "Some companies or individuals in the society maliciously preemptively register yao anna's trademark, and we must not do it."
According to the provisions of China's Trademark Law, Chinese mainland citizens must use the name of the company or hold an individual industrial and commercial business license to apply for trademark registration, and Yao Anna has just graduated and has not yet registered her own company. Therefore, Ren entrusted the Intellectual Property Department to register as an agent, and then transferred it to Yao Anna's studio later, and the cost was paid by her.
The announcement said, "Ren is always the first time to use public power for private use, and apologizes to all employees for this."
