Yangcheng County was selected as the fifth batch of national ecological civilization construction demonstration zones

In recent years, Yangcheng County has closely focused on the goal of building a "demonstration area for practicing the two mountains theory", adhered to the principle of ecological priority and green development, and with the goal of "building a solid green ecological barrier for the South Taihang and guarding the South Taihang Water Tower", the management of mountains, water, gas and city has been promoted as a whole, promoting green production and lifestyle, and painting a colorful and splendid green ecological picture. In particular, at the opening ceremony of the 2020 United Nations Biodiversity Conference (Phase I) Ecological Civilization Forum held recently, Yangcheng County was selected as the fifth batch of national ecological civilization construction demonstration zones.

All-round and vigorous efforts have been made to carry out ecological restoration and governance, and the appearance of urban and rural areas has been renewed. Adhere to the "five-pronged approach" of coal reduction, pollution control, dust reduction, pipe vehicles, and tobacco control, and the air quality continues to improve, and in 2020, the number of excellent days above the second level will reach 306 days, accounting for 83.8%. With an investment of 2.3 billion yuan, the ecological restoration of the three major rivers in the county (Qinhe, Haozehe and Reedhe) has been restored and treated, and the water quality has reached the surface water class III standard to achieve clean water reflow. With an investment of 420 million yuan, it took the lead in starting the treatment of rural domestic sewage in the county, and in accordance with the general idea of "river cloth factory, factory connected village, station pond bottom, project guarantee", 5 large domestic sewage treatment plants, 20 small sewage treatment stations, 258 kilometers of sewage pipe network were laid, and the domestic sewage of 316,000 people in 231 villages reached treatment, accounting for 82% of the county's population.

Vigorously carry out the construction of a beautiful Yangcheng, and the ecological environment has been significantly improved. According to the positioning of "Park City, Exquisite Mountain City", with an investment of 1.5 billion yuan, the county town has built 6.67 million square meters of six major forest parks and 80 kilometers of ecological greenways, and the greening rate of the county town has reached 43.7%; the investment of 260 million yuan has been invested in the ecological treatment and riverside greenway construction of the Huanxian County, with a total area of 156,000 square meters. Led by the "Demonstration Zone for Practicing the Two Mountains Theory", we will promote village planning in different categories, continue to implement garbage non-landing projects, pastoral cleaning projects, and rural gasification projects, and build 1 township with a beautiful environment at the national level, 8 townships with beautiful environments in Shanxi Province, 13 ecological civilization villages in Shanxi Province, and 250 ecological garden villages at the county level, and the improvement of rural living environment is at the forefront of the province.

Bravely embark on the road of green transformation and promote the green transformation of production and lifestyle. New progress has been made in the construction of "5G + smart green mines" in 22 coal mines, a new pattern of green development of the power industry of "integration of wind, light, fire and storage" has initially taken shape, and a number of low-carbon green projects such as biomedicine, fine chemicals, equipment manufacturing, coal-bed methane conversion and utilization, ceramic new materials, solar cell materials and new photovoltaic thin-film new materials have landed in Yangcheng. Focusing on "coal production does not see coal, coal production does not burn coal, coal production does not rely on coal", vigorously promote the clean energy revolution, and strive to build a clean and green energy demonstration base. Continue to promote the construction of "gasification Yangcheng", the gas transmission and supply network has covered the county and 13 townships, the population rate has reached 93%; fully promote the construction of green mines and green factories, and all industrial enterprises have completed the "coal to gas". Continue to promote the "central heating" project, the urban central heating rate reached 100%, the rural area clean heating rate reached 60%, "gasification Yangcheng" and "central heating" in the forefront of the country. The new dividends of green development continue to be released, and the health care industry is booming, and in 2020, it was awarded the "National Forest Wellness Base Pilot Construction County" and was listed in the list of "Top 100 Counties with National Tourism Development Potential in 2020".
