The theme of this lecture hall is "Learning from History and Reverence, Thoroughly Implementing the Implementation Outline of Patriotism Education in the New Era and the Implementation Outline of Civic Ethics Construction in the New Era", practicing the core values of socialism, and building the Chinese dream with one heart." ”

To study history and reverence is to study the "four histories" well. History is the best textbook and the best sobering agent. Studying the history of the party, the history of new China, the history of reform and opening up, and the history of the development of socialism is a compulsory course for party members and cadres. We must closely integrate the study and education of the "four histories" with doing a good job in the current work, draw spiritual strength, experience and wisdom from history, and the determination to adhere to the people's stand, and unswervingly do our own things well. To study history and reverence is to strengthen moral construction. The "Outline for the Implementation of The Construction of Civic Ethics in the New Era" and the "Outline for the Implementation of Patriotic Education in the New Era" are major measures for implementing the decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee, an inevitable requirement for consolidating the common ideological and moral foundation of the unity and struggle of all the people in the new era, and an urgent need to further transform the advantages of socialist ideological and moral construction into governance efficiency. We must deeply study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on ideological and moral construction and patriotic education, focus on cohesion and moral character, vigorously cultivate the core values of socialism, hold high the great banner of patriotism, and promote ideological and moral construction and patriotic education to create a new situation. To study history and reverence is to practice the core values of socialism. The core values of socialism are the core of the socialist core value system, embodying the fundamental nature and basic characteristics of the socialist core value system, reflecting the rich connotation and practical requirements of the socialist core value system, and being a highly condensed and centralized expression of the socialist core value system. As party members and cadres, we must set an example in practicing the core values of socialism, expand social identity while respecting differences, form an ideological consensus in tolerance and diversity, and use the core values of socialism to lead social ideological trends and gather social consensus, so as to promote the comprehensive and healthy development of the economy and society and the happiness and health of the people.
The cadres of the organs participating in the lecture hall said that since the Eighteenth National Congress of the Party, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has attached great importance to the construction of the core values of socialism and taken a series of major measures to promote the wide promotion of the core values of socialism. The lecture hall also presented "Concise Chinese History -- Compulsory National History for Party Members and Cadres" to help party members and cadres study and sum up history and culture, learn from and apply historical experience, draw wisdom and nutrition from them that are beneficial to strengthening self-cultivation and doing a good job, continuously improve their cognitive ability and spiritual realm, and continuously improve their work level.
