Bild: Lucas will appear in court in Madrid tomorrow, and his first application for exemption from his sentence has been rejected

Live bar October 18, 2018 According to the German media "Bild", Bayern defender Lucas Hernandez will be questioned by a judge at the Madrid Criminal Court tomorrow, and the result will be to decide whether he will be imprisoned for six months for violating the court ban in 2017.

Lucas will be summoned by Judge Luviales of the Madrid Criminal Court at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, when he will be informed that he needs to serve a 6-month sentence in prison within 10 days and that he will be able to file a complaint for appeal, the report said. Lucas will not be arrested outright, but will not be able to serve his sentence within 10 days after he has been formally notified of the effectiveness of his sentence.

Lucas may have been sentenced for his two violent assaults on his then-girlfriend, now-wife Amelia, in 2017, and he did not comply with a court ban not to approach Amelia afterwards. Spanish penal expert Barcelo said "non-habitual offenders" could apply for exemptions from shorter sentences; however, Lucas's first application has been dismissed because of his two previous convictions for domestic violence.

A spokesman for the Madrid court told Bild: "There have been two convictions of domestic violence and one violation of the sentence, which is a very serious offence. Judges can only apply the law. The judge is not simply deciding to send Lucas to prison, but is enforcing the sentence. Behind the jail sentence are two different judges and the prosecutor's office. ”

The report said that Lucas still had the possibility of saving himself from prison by appealing, and the three trial levels were: filing a lawsuit with the district court, applying for an amendment to the sentence, and filing a complaint with the Ministry of Justice. At the same time, Lucas can apply to the Criminal Court and the District Court to retain his freedom until all sentences are decided.
