And the azaleas surprised me even more. It turns out that the flower that is out of reach in this impression is the shandan danhua that spreads over the mountains in spring! At the same time, it has other names such as Yingshan Red, Mountain Pomegranate, Camellia... I felt the magic of the word "cuckoo" more and more.

Growing up in the green mountains and beautiful waters of my grandmother's house, in the depths of the forest springs, there are often cuckoos chirping accompanied by the sound of clear water, adding infinite charm to the green forest. So where did the sad imagery contained in the cuckoo come from?

The common saying "Cuckoo cries blood", how did this desolate image come about? According to legend, Emperor Wangdi was the ancient King of Shu, and his throne was usurped by the turtle spirit, so Emperor Wangdi fled to the mountains in a hurry, or perhaps he was exiled to the mountains under house arrest after being captured, and Emperor Wangdi tried to restore the throne day and night without success, and finally ended up depressed in the mountains, turning into a cuckoo and crying blood. Blood splashed the branches, and the rhododendrons were stained red. According to this, Cuckoo is also known as "Du Yu", "Du Lu", "Du Soul", "Wangdi", with a sense of sorrow and resentment. "Du Yu was wronged, and called Shumen every year", once became a bird of resentment.

After Du Yu transformed into a crane, all the cries were the voice of the subjugation of the country, and the hatred of the subjugated country was expressed. Whether you are wandering in a foreign land or missing your homeland, whether you are ambitious or feel sad about history, whether you are worried about the people or your heart is concerned about the country, how can you not think bitterly when you listen to this sound and think about this! Watching the sunset at dusk, the evening wind gusting, and the sound of deep partridges in the mountains, this mournful and persistent sound gradually tightens, setting off the indelible resentment of the heart to the climax, if you look at the shape of the partridge, and the evening smoke and sunset, full of sorrow to blur the vision, the lips and beak corners indeed seem to be dripping blood. Looking down at the eyes, it was a crown of bright red flowers, and the mood of the knife cut became more and more fierce, and I couldn't bear to hear it! Mr. Wang Jing'an read Qin Guanzi's "Words and Sayings in the World" and sighed with a stroke of his pen: "The word realm of Shaoyou is the most poignant, until 'the lonely house is closed in the spring and cold, and the cuckoo sounds in the twilight of the sun', it becomes miserable." "What a "miserable"! This partridge has achieved the self-contained state of many literati rioters in ancient times, but unfortunately they do not know it. In essence, "crying blood" is the physiological characteristic of the cuckoo, it is not sad at all, on the contrary, when it is chirping is precisely when it lives happily.

Speaking of the blood of the azaleas, my mother told me that the pollen of the rhododendrons can be used to make rouge, and when she was a child, she often asked her partners to collect azaleas, peeled off the flower buds, and kept them in the rouge box, the color was bright, the fragrance was elegant, and how much beauty she added to the girl's appearance. Butterfly dreams and cuckoo cries both give people an indescribable confusion and sadness.

What does that make people think? Yes, doesn't love bring people the same poignancy? On the other hand, du Yu is borrowed to transform his soul, miss his homeland, and cry day and night to the lyrical connotation of not wanting to leave, to express the fierceness of acacia and the lingering of love. The soul is the cuckoo, yuto spring heart, its feelings can be felt, its meaning is visible. "The moon is dissolved and the stars are reunited, how can no one return?"
