"Caster" is adapted from Dong Xingmei's novel "Half Yuanjun", directed by Cheng Qian, with Ding Yinnan as the artistic director, Han Wenwen, Chun Yu Shanshan, Zhang Zhengyang, Wang Quanyou, Li Mengnan, Li Huailong, Pan Shiqi and other starring main theme works, And Li Youbin, Wang Bozhao, Zheng Xiaoning and other veteran actors friendship cameo.
It is worth mentioning that Dong Xingmei, an investor, original author and screenwriter of this drama, pen name Murong Sangguo'er, was once a laid-off employee of a state-owned enterprise. After being laid off, he went to the sea to start his own business, founded a machinery enterprise, and was committed to building a national industrial brand. The products produced by its enterprises have been applied to the construction of many national key projects such as the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, the development of the western region, the north-south water diversion, and the Yunnan hydropower project. Zhisuo invested in the filming of the drama "Caster", which stemmed from Dong Xingmei's growing up environment: she was born in Weishui (Weifang) and grew up in a factory; her father was an ordinary fitter in a local state-owned enterprise factory in Weifang; and her mother died young when she was two years old. Therefore, Dong Xingmei's childhood time was basically spent in the factory with her father. The environment in which she grew up from childhood led to her having a special affection for the factory, and it was based on this feeling for the factory that she later had the play "Caster".
