Painter Wen Jun: Bright past, ink language condensed incense
Text/Money Hair
Chinese painting is independent of the world painting world by paying attention to the expression of artistic conception, while freehand landscape painting is the most oriental literati thought among the three disciplines of characters, landscapes, flowers and birds painted in China. Therefore, the expression of artistic conception is more demanding in the creation of landscape painting. Therefore, landscape painting is also known for expressing humanistic interest and embodying the harmonious beauty of man and nature.
At the end of Gengzi's year, Mr. Wen Jun created two excellent works, "Flying Waterfall Flowing Spring Map" and "Lake Light and Mountain Color Map", and wrote out the beauty of this humanistic interest and the unity of heaven and man with exquisite techniques.
Wen Jun's "Flying Waterfall Flowing Spring Map" 2020 62× 122cm
The inspiration for the creation of "Flying Waterfall Flowing Spring Map" originated from a place called "Pippen" in Huangshan, which is said to have been the place where a senior monk named "Xuezhuang" painted in the Qing Dynasty, hence the name. This is the only way to climb Huangshan Mountain, Mr. Wen Jun was a regular visitor here thirty years ago, he has been to Huangshan Mountain more than ten times to sketch, and whenever he stops here, the beautiful scenery in front of him makes him deeply impressed. Thirty years later, he remembered that the youth and beauty of the past still made him feel excited and unforgettable, so he took up his pen to make this painting.
The work adopts an "s-shaped" composition, from far and near to the waterfall flying down the vivid charm and cliffs of the cliffs jumping on the paper. The trickle at the top of the mountain meanders to the bottom of the mountain, the light ink is smudged, the center is hooked, and the scorched ink is wiped out of the flying white, creating a majestic momentum of thousands of miles.

Chinese often say: "People go to high places, and water flows to low places", although the dangerous peaks are bumpy, they can see the beautiful mountains. In this work, Mr. Wen Jun does not paint the place where the mountain is, but seems to express a kind of idea of "the road of art, the struggle is endless".
Thirty years ago, there was only a mountain road to climb Huangshan, and Pippen was a must-pass place. Later, there was a ropeway in Huangshan, and in addition to the porters who climbed the mountain for a living, there were fewer and fewer people climbing on foot, so fewer and fewer people knew Pippen. Although this scenery has always existed, it is easy to forget or ignore because of the change in the way of climbing.
The magic of the painting method is that people will create their own environment, so there is no definite law. Thirty years later, Mr. Wen Jun, with his own unique pen and ink technique, presented the beautiful scenery here after artistic reprocessing, and created its artistic conception from the real scene, which is a deep sentiment and record of the inherent natural beauty here, and is full of the humanistic feelings of the painter.
The trees on the peaks are made up of pine, plum and bamboo. The trunk of the nearby pine tree is rubbed with light ink, and then the leaves are written with pine leaf dots, and then smudged with wet ink, highlighting the vigor of the pine tree and the luxuriantness of the pine leaves. Plum trees and bamboo forests are drawn with "rat foot points" and "meson points". The lush plum trees growing above the dangerous peaks allude to the meaning of "plum blossom fragrance comes from bitter cold". A bamboo forest, plain and elegant, simple and unpretentious, pure and self-guarding, a gentleman's style. Bamboo also means peace, and has the meaning of bamboo to report peace.
Mr. Wen Jun specially used the "splash ink technique" to paint the mountain stone, in order to use his "splashing" brush and ink technique to highlight the majesty of Huangshan Mountain, and to infuse his humanistic feelings between the pen edges. Compared with Mr. Wen Jun's previous works, this kind of mountain stone painting method, from punking to splashing, and then pouring and then pouring, has formed a sense of richness in spilling and pouring, which is a major change and innovation, and is another leap forward in Mr. Wen Jun's creative technique.
Heaven and earth are made of anger, and painting is taken with brush and ink. The use of this technique by Mr. Wen Jun is not only the natural, spontaneous and free expression of the painter himself, but also the complete interpretation and expression between Huangshan Shan Shijie and figuration and abstraction, which builds a skeleton for the artistic conception of the whole work, writes the blood vein, and enriches the soul.

In another "Lake And Mountain Color Map", the two peaks are in the long-range and medium view, and the technique used by the mountain is the same as that of the "Flying Waterfall Flowing Spring Map", which is still splashed in the splash and splashed in the puddle. The mountain is undulating, from high to low, in one go, and it is one of the most skilled works of Mr. Wen Jun's landscape painting technique.
In addition to the distant mountain peaks, the layers of distant mountains are also painted with light ink, showing the philosophy of life of "there are mountains outside the mountains", and it seems that there will be more and more challenges and difficulties encountered on the road of art, only like the strong and tall trees in the mountains, tenacious and down-to-earth, it will definitely open up branches and leaves, and carry on the past.
Part of Wen Jun's "Lake Light and Mountain Color Map"
The inspiration for this work comes from the small scenery of mountain villages in the southern Anhui region. The Huizhou region has a humid climate, abundant rainfall and dense rivers. The fog often rises at night and does not dissipate until the next morning, and the clouds and mist are thick and the mountains are lush and solemn, making people feel like they are in a fairyland. Poetic scene, beautiful and moving.
In order to express the mist and mist in the scenery of southern Anhui and the pride of the mountain peaks, Mr. Wen Jun boldly adopted a combination of splashing ink and dyeing, and the wet, huazi and thick performance of the southern water town of Anhui Was just right. Halfway up the mountainside and by the lake, the pine trees are centered on the pen, and the double-stroke method depicts its tall and tall, and in the lower right corner is a bamboo forest, lush and lush, and pepper is used to dot the green grass between the mountains, depicting a vibrant scene.
The color of this work is mainly expressed in the shade of ink color, thick dry and wet light burnt ink layers are many and refreshing, occasionally there are light ochre, three greens and flower blue, there is no color jump, the color does not hinder the ink, it is natural, and it looks very refreshing.
The charm of art lies not only in the intuitive beauty, but also in the infinite reverie in the details. A small corner, what you see may be a person's life. There are several families looming between the mountains and trees, and the one in the lower left corner goes to the empty house and looks closely at the broken bridge in front of the door, which is puzzling. Perhaps there was a hermit living in the house, who abandoned the water (wealth) to ascend to the top of the mountain in pursuit of a more beautiful scenery at the top of the mountain, so it was left empty and the broken bridge was reverie. In the impetuous world, in order to enjoy a more beautiful scenery, how can you be free and free to give up everything in the world?
"The water is bright and sunny, and the mountains are full of rain and rain." The painting is called "Lake Light and Mountain Color Map", but the lake surface of one of the "protagonists" is only a corner, which seems to indicate that there is a wider lake view outside the picture, and in a way that leaves blank space outside the painting, it attracts people to imagine the beauty outside the painting.
Guo Xiyun of the Song Dynasty: "The valley of the true landscape and water, looking far away to take its potential, looking closely to take its quality, macroscopic to take the general trend, microscopic to take the essence." "In recent years, Mr. Wen Jun's works have matured from the technical level, especially in the treatment of mountain stones, between similarity and dissimilarity, that is, they have more potential and more quality, and have become wonderful products that can be expected, traveled and inhabited.
Bright past, ink language condensed incense. Blue Eagle Calligraphy and Painting believes that the achievement of these achievements may stem from Mr. Wen Jun's profound summary of the past artistic path, and based on this, the result of continuous innovation. It will surely provide a reference for every painter.
