Thai Second Division team Btu United officially announced that the team has signed a contract with Wang Lingke, a 17-year-old youngster from Kaiyuan City, Yunnan Province. After completing the registration procedures, Wang Ling will officially appear in the Thai Second League, and also become the first Yunnan player to officially join the Thai Professional League.

Wang Lingke is from Kaiyuan City, the "hometown of football" in Yunnan, and he officially started football training at the age of 6. With excellent personal ability, Wang Lingke was twice selected as a 50-member Spanish traininger in 2014 and 2015 for Wanda's "Chinese Football Hope Star". In 2014, Wang Lingke was again selected by the Yunnan Provincial Team and was selected for the Yunnan Provincial 01 and 02 Age Group. In September 2017, he was selected into the U17 national youth training team. By chance, Wang Lingke became the first player from China in the Thai btu united team, and Thailand also became the beginning of Wang Lingke's football career. The club's official website refers to Wang Lingke as "China's 'Star of Hope'", believing that he will be a rare star through the accumulation of competitions. As the youngest player in BTU United, the club is reportedly very fond of him from top to bottom. Wang Lingke said that he hopes to further improve his ability through learning and tempering in the Thai Second League, with the goal of entering the European giants.
