People's Daily Beijing, November 7 (Reporter Qiao Xuefeng) On November 6, the joint prevention and control mechanism of the State Council held a press conference, and Han Guangzu, director of the Flight Standards Department of the Civil Aviation Administration, said at the press conference that according to the characteristics of the virus variant strain and the changes in the epidemic situation, the Civil Aviation Administration of China issued the eighth edition of the technical guidelines for epidemic prevention and control on September 23, which strengthened the prevention and control measures for passengers from entering the terminal, before boarding, during the flight and after arrival.

Han Guangzu pointed out that for international passenger flights, the first is to require airlines to continue to do a good job in remote health code inspection, on-board emergency isolation area settings and load factor restrictions. Implement various protective measures such as zoning services, guiding passengers to eat in batches in single and double rows, cleaning and disinfecting lavatories according to regulations, and doing a good job in personnel protection and aircraft killing. The second is to strictly implement the circuit breaker measures for international passenger flights. Since the beginning of this year, the Civil Aviation Administration has implemented 212 circuit breakers on inbound international passenger flights with high import risks, and 475 circuit breaker flights.

For domestic flights, the first is to put forward a more accurate and effective timely dynamic adjustment plan for flight classification prevention and control measures, increase the epidemic prevention requirements for flights in high-risk areas in the city of origin, and take corresponding measures in accordance with the risk level of international medium-risk flights. Second, when there are medium- and high-risk areas within the city where the flight originates, the rear right row of seats will be reserved on the aircraft as an emergency incident handling isolation area. Suspicious passengers with symptoms such as fever, fatigue, cough or other symptoms on board can be effectively responded to by the airline in accordance with the emergency procedures on board.

Han Guangzu said that there are still sporadic cases and cluster epidemics in the domestic local area recently, and passengers should check the epidemic prevention and control requirements of the departure and destination in advance before traveling, improve their awareness of self-protection during travel, do a good job of wearing masks, washing hands frequently, maintaining social distancing and other measures, and cooperate with airports and airlines to do a good job in body temperature detection, health codes and nucleic acid certificates. At the same time, in accordance with the guidance of airport and airline staff, do a good job of hand disinfection before boarding, do not change seats on the plane, reduce unnecessary movements, and use the lavatory in an orderly manner.
