She saw several photos from the time of the Nanjing Massacre:

"The bodies of hundreds of Chinese civilians floated across the river,

And the severed heads,

The belly that has been cut open,

and nude women,

Their faces are distorted and deformed,

With something unforgettable

Expressions of pain and shame. ”

These scenes,

In her school library,

In the public library of the city,

In the world history textbook she learned,

Couldn't find anything,

Even her teacher didn't know anything about it.

She said that the Nazis slaughtered the Jews,

The world is a household name,

But in the West,

The facts of the Nanjing Massacre are unknown,

She searched and dug

But writing is a nightmare process,

She not only had to face it, but she had to tell it one by one

Those heinous atrocities:

"Beheading, burial alive, burning alive, digging hearts,

Splitting corpses, drowning in cesspool..."

She often "shivered with anger, had nightmares of insomnia,

Weight loss, hair loss".

Dec. 1997,

After endless inner torment and grief,

Her book

The Nanjing Massacre: The Forgotten Catastrophe of World War II

Officially published in the United States.

Plunged into endless fear.

Retaliation and harassment by japanese right-wing forces

And so it came.

She can only change her phone number frequently,

Never dare to reveal it at will

December 13, 2014,

General Secretary Xi Jinping

On the Day of National Consecration, he said loudly:

"Since ancient times,

Peace is mankind's most enduring long-cherished wish...

The predation of the weak is not the way for human beings to coexist,

Military force is not a solution to human peace.

Peace rather than war,

Cooperation rather than confrontation,

It is the eternal theme of human social progress. ”

No one can be an island,

The whole of mankind is a community of destiny,

In the face of major disasters,

Peace-loving people can only watch over each other,

Give courage, determination, care,

in order to illuminate all the darkest moments.

Remember

Not just the pity of the nation,

There is also the admonition that backwardness must die.

commemorate

Not to preach the grudge of revenge,

Rather, it is to make a wish for revival:

Remember history and cherish peace.
