How do you interpret the character of Xu Jing in "The Great Thief of the Saints"?
I think this character is very tough, but it's not the same as me in reality, not like the realm I can achieve in reality. Although her background is not emphasized in the script, the director and I have established a tragic life for her. This is also her motivation and opportunity to be able to stand out in a group of high society and a group of men. It is also because of the past that I have to carry a lot of burdens on the performance, which makes this role quite attractive to me, and it is an acting experience that I have not touched in the past. In fact, there were a lot of levels at the beginning, which was very frustrating for me, but when I gradually found a comfortable way to get along with her, I was able to fully enjoy the performance process, and I was really happy that the director could find me.
This time in "Saint Thief", many of them are playing with Zeng Zhiwei's opponents, how does it feel to cooperate with him?
At first, Zhi Viagra came to the scene or looked at everyone as a producer, and it was relatively easy to get along, but when he began to shoot, the whole person became different. The experienced actor is really different, he always knows his best appearance, and even unconsciously finds the light himself, standing next to him is easy to dwarf (laughs). In the process of filming "Saint Thief", you felt great pressure to keep improving?
I think the most difficult part of this time is to play a project that I am not good at, the role of Xu Jing is the most difficult role I have taken so far, plus the theme of finance is completely confusing for me, I did not think at first that I could eat and live this role, so I was very worried.
In the early stages of shooting, I would fall into a kind of depression, and I would often cry when I came home from work, and then I told the director that I couldn't do it, and that it was the first time I was so honest with my partner, and that frustration was brought about by myself and the whole shooting environment. Because of the tears of that time, I felt a lot of strength, at first I felt that the whole world began to help me, and suddenly it was like an opening, I was very happy to have this unprecedented journey, filling all my body, mind, and soul, and that feeling of loneliness suddenly arose, unconsciously into the play.
After the performance of "Saint Thief", did you want to say anything to yourself?
Although I am not a strict self-disciplined person, I would like to be that kind of person, and I have always wanted to warn myself that you are not doing a good job, please continue to work hard. In the first half of 2019, I have been thinking that if "Saint Thief" and "The Taste of Pepper" can be released in the second half of the year, it will definitely be a big harvest for me, but when there is still a very strict ruler in my heart, I found that there are still many places that need to be improved, and I definitely do not settle for the status quo.
