In April, 21 pharmaceutical manufacturers voluntarily cancelled their Drug Business Licenses.

▍ 21 drug dealers, cancellation certificate

On April 30, the Heilongjiang Food and Drug Administration issued an announcement on the cancellation of the Drug Business License, and two enterprises, Heilongjiang Haiwang Conrad Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and Heilongjiang Huihan Medical Device Co., Ltd., took the initiative to apply for cancellation of the Drug Business License.

According to statistics, in April alone, there were 21 cases of independent cancellation in various provinces, as follows:

On April 29, Shandong Dahai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. applied for cancellation of the "Drug Business License" with the license number of Lu Aa5301490, and Zibo Weimin Pharmaceutical Distribution Co., Ltd. applied for the cancellation of the "Drug Business License" with the license number of Lu Aa5331497.

On April 26, Xiamen Kangqiao Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. took the initiative to cancel the "Drug Business License" of Xiamen Kangqiao Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. in accordance with the law; the Guqian Branch of Bencaotang Pharmacy in Mabugang Town, Longchuan County, applied for cancellation of the "Drug Business License" with the number of Yuedb7626169.

On April 18, Shanxi Jiakang Medical Trading Co., Ltd. applied for cancellation of its "Drug Business License" (No. 35550012) Hubei Jianshi County Huakang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. applied for cancellation of the "Drug Business License" for the relevant provisions and requirements of enterprise merger and reorganization. Hubei Huayang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. complies with the relevant provisions and requirements of the merger and reorganization of drug circulation enterprises in our province, and approves the company's application for cancellation of the "Drug Business License".

On April 9, Jiangxi SanheDa Pharmacy Chain Co., Ltd. applied for cancellation of the "Drug Business License" with the license number of E 20160157.

On April 8, Hubei Rongze Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. applied for cancellation of the "Drug Business License" with the license number of Ganba7970167.

On April 4, China Resources Gansu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. applied for cancellation of the "Drug Business License" with the license number of Ganaa931h694.

On April 3, Guangzhou Baozhuyuan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Guangdong Fengze Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Guangdong Shuangbai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Guangdong Boai Mass Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Guangdong Haipin Pharmacy Chain Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Wuhuan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Guangdong Zhonghui Sunshine Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Xinpan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and Guangdong Shenhua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. terminated their business and applied for cancellation of the Drug Business License.

▍ Renewal or termination of business

According to the data, the cancellation of the "Drug Business License" upon application is the act of the "Drug Business License" license-holding enterprise voluntarily giving up the exclusive right to the "Drug Business License". If the "Drug Business License" is cancelled, the original "Drug Business License" shall be invalidated.

Generally speaking, the "Drug Business License" is cancelled or the validity period expires and no application is applied for renewal; or the drug trading enterprise terminates the operation of drugs or closes down.

According to this point of view, many enterprises that take the initiative to cancel the "Drug Business License" may renew their licenses or terminate their business, and in the current process of rapid changes in the industry, it is not excluded that small and medium-sized enterprises will make decisions to terminate their operations under the trend of mergers and reorganizations encouraged by policies.

In the long run, the acquisition of small and medium-sized pharmaceutical companies should be a high-probability event, thus forming a pattern of giants in the pharmaceutical industry.
