Four relatives, who have no medical qualifications but pretend to be dentists, set up stalls in the countryside to set up teeth for the elderly, pinch the paste on the victim's gums, use a knife to cut out the gap between the teeth and stick to the hook to announce the completion, and then ask for a high fee.

On May 5, the Beiqing-Beijing Headline reporter learned that the Beijing Miyun Court sentenced Wang Jia, Wang Yi, Wang Bing, and Liu Mou to prison terms ranging from two years to one year and eight months for fraud.

Wang Jia and Wang Yi, Wang Bing and Liu Are family members or relatives and friends, and they collude with each other to use the means of posing as dentists to go to bazaars and other places and use fake and shoddy materials to "set teeth" for the elderly to defraud property.

Between June 2018 and February 2019, they impersonated dentists in Miyun District, Beijing And Sanhe City, Hebei Province, posing as dentists in bazaars and other places, using fake and shoddy materials to incest teeth for a number of elderly people and demanding high dental fees, defrauding Zhou and other victims of a total of 35,580 yuan in dental implants.

At about 11:00 on February 26, 2019, Wang Bing, together with Liu Mou, used the same means to pretend to be a medical worker in a village in Mujiayu Town, Miyun District, Beijing, to demand 12,000 yuan for a tooth inlay fee after Yu's son called the police.

According to the confessions of the members of the criminal gang, none of them had legal medical qualifications, and the business cards they held and distributed with the words "dentist" printed on them and the names on them were fabricated. The main method of fraud is to set up stalls and inlay teeth in rural gatherings on the outskirts of Beijing and surrounding Hebei, solicit "free examinations" from passing elderly people, pinch pastes made with tooth powder and other mixtures on the victim's gums, and use a knife to remove the between the teeth and stick the hooks before declaring the completion.

The cost of the above-mentioned "tooth fixation" is only a few tens of yuan, but they ask the victim for thousands or even tens of thousands of yuan in cash. This irregular dental implant technique and inferior material caused many victims to go home with swollen gums and painful teeth, teeth falling out, because there was no consumption and diagnosis and treatment documents, the claim was no way to find that they were deceived into calling the police.

In the course of the investigation, the public security organ collected evidence from a dentist at a hospital in Miyun District, Beijing, who examined the victim's mouth and said: "Yu's tooth is a bad restoration and does not conform to the norm. In a certain mouth, some white gel resin solidifies on the crown of the tooth, the stumps, and the missing tooth position. This repair can compress the gums and cause inflammation. The doctor pointed out that due to the irregular way of dental implantation, the tooth of a certain inlay will fall out in a short time, and other good teeth may fall out prematurely. The formal dental process is to first extract the patient's damaged teeth, stumps, etc., and then to clean the patient's good teeth to maintain the periodontal periodontium, and the scaling of teeth requires regular instruments, and finally the teeth can be incubated.

After trial, the court held that the four defendants colluded with each other for the purpose of illegal possession, and defrauded others of property by means of impersonating dentists and using fake and shoddy materials to inlay the teeth of the elderly, which amounted to a relatively large amount and infringed on the property rights of others, and their acts constituted the crime of fraud and should be punished according to law. Accordingly, based on the facts of the four persons' crimes, the nature and circumstances of the crimes, the degree of harm to society, and their role in the joint crime, the court sentenced Wang Jia, Wang Yi, Wang Bing, and Liu X to fixed-term imprisonment ranging from two years to one year and eight months for the crime of fraud, and fined them.

The judge hereby reminds the general public that whether it is a dental implant, cosmetic or other medical treatment, they should go to a regular medical institution for medical treatment, follow the doctor's advice, and retain the medical materials and credentials. For medical practitioners who move to recruit patients in mobile large groups, irregular doorways, villages, and communities, do not blindly listen to blind obedience, and it is even more vigilant to involve large amounts of inspection and consumption items.
