The technicians of the walnut center carefully learned about the situation of walnut fruit hanging in recent years from the farmers, and introduced to the farmers the key points and difficulties of walnut winter and spring pipe protection work, such as clearing and weeding, scientific fertilization, digging tree trays, scraping eggs and whitening, pulling branches and pruning, smoking and frost prevention, glucoidal insects, skirt barriers, spraying and drug control, etc., and explained the prevention and control of walnut diseases and insect pests based on black spot disease, gray fly flat leaf beetle, butterfly and walnut common limb moth.
The help team members and technicians worked themselves in the field to demonstrate planing, whitening and fertilization for farmers on the spot. Walnut economic forest is the main project for farmers in Loudi Village to increase their income, but also the key to completing the poverty alleviation work in the village, the help team said that in the future, it will regularly organize training for help team members and technicians to fully assist farmers to ensure the healthy development of the walnut industry.
