I would reply that this title is really appropriate for sweet, and it is also suitable for Huizi and 141. I am not qualified to give anyone a title, and it is naturally not me who gives this title, but time. This time, after writing Sweet, I will not write a new "Beijing Battle King". In my opinion, sweet, Huizi, 141, these three are the three strongest battle kings in Beijing since 2011, in chronological order.
Sweet is not very old, he is a post-90s in 1992. But in the rap circle, he has been playing for ten years. I was impressed by the first time I met Sweet, which was the second "Dragon Tiger Fight" battle competition ten years ago. In 2008, at the age of 16, Sweet made his debut on stage.
I was very impressed with sweet at that time. With bangs, he faced a strong enemy on the stage, green but not timid, and his words and words were very clear. Although he had not yet practiced his famous fast mouth and did not have complex rhyming techniques, it was still eye-catching. When I played against Wootacc, a former teammate of little tigers and c.o.u member, I clearly remember sweet singing to wootacc, "I am a newborn calf who is not afraid of tigers".
The first-time sweet did not have a very outstanding performance. In the golden age of Natty Ray, Little Tiger, and Meng Guodong, his understanding of battle and even hiphop culture was deeply influenced.
Due to limited video material and social media from a decade ago, I didn't have any news from him in 2009. Including the 2009 iron mic, he did not participate, although his good brother Wang Zhe performed well in 2009.
In 2010, Sweet was back in sight again. This year he made it to the iron mic finals. At this time, he is no longer a newcomer, but a young rapper who has been given high hopes in Beijing.
In this year's competition, Sweet has defeated many strong opponents. In this game, Zhang Hao first said that in the face of Zhang Hao's coherent flow, he began to pinch a sweat for sweet. But sweet is also known for its fast mouth, and the scene is not at all behind. Zhang Hao took out the stem that Sweet said last year that he was going to collapse the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and ridiculed sweetly, which looked like Yan Xiaoliu from wulin, but was dissolved by sweet one by one.
In the second round, Sweet encountered a strong opponent from Xi'an, that is, the number one favorite of the year, Nous member Pikett. In the second natural flavor contest a few months later, Sweet sadly lost to Zhao Xin of the organizer itsogoo in the final and won the second place. That game, in my opinion, Sweet won the game on a technical level and won the audience, but didn't win the referee.
What impressed me most about that competition was not the final against itsogoo Zhao Xin, but the semi-final against a foreign rapper. In the face of the fierce flow of foreigners, Sweet is not timid, bluntly does not understand the content, and attacks foreigners in the country to deceive the color and deceive the cannon, satirizing the foreigners in the country to eat and drink. Half a year later, in the first natural flavor contest of 2013, Sweet was invited to participate again. The level of this tournament is very high, in my opinion, the highest overall level of that series. But by this time Sweet hadn't been fighting for a while. In the first round, he encountered a strong opponent, and the match against Mc Xiaowei was very enjoyable; in the second round, he encountered a dark horse, Guiyang God Troublex. The two rounds against the subwayx were very exciting, when Sweet's fast mouth was still sharp, but a little less murderous, and it was obvious that he no longer cared so much about winning or losing. Sweet's battle career basically ended after that natural flavor game against the subwayx. After that, Sweet put most of his energy into the work. In the same year of 2013, Sweet created his most famous masterpiece "Tube Building" and released the eponymous album of this song.
This song is a true portrayal of the environment in which Sweet grew up. The oil-blackened walls, the cobweb-like messy wires, the narrow and crowded aisles, and the dirty public toilets most realistically restore the true appearance of the tube building.
This is sweet's home, a corner of Beijing, and a true portrayal of the people at the bottom of the whole society. The song "Tube Building" has to be said to be a masterpiece worth circulating, and the well-known rap critic Xiao Qiang Shuyi regards this song as a classic work that can represent the lives of the grassroots people in Beijing, and well-known forums in South Korea have introduced this song. However, at that time, the sales of Sweet's "Tube Building" self-titled album were not ideal, and the click rate on Douban was also flat. What does this mean? The answer is worth thinking about.
However, in the final lyrics of the song "Tube Building", Sweet still expresses his love for the Tube Building. After all, home was there, and he had learned too much there. Now sweet will go back to where he used to grow up.
Although he spends his time making an album, Sweet still goes to the battle scene, but only becomes an audience. After the 2013 iron mic Beijing division, the classic half-hour street freestyle video was widely circulated.
In the early hours of Beijing in November, it was extremely cold. But the scene of rappers surrounding the tree freestyle is unforgettable. I deeply remembered Sweet, Xiao Wei, Huang Xu, Tian Tian, Pengzi, Wang Zhe, Midi, and so on. In the most street battle scene, there is no tension, only laughter.
The last time sweet was seen on the battle stage was in 2014, but he is no longer competing in the battle. Instead, he became the host of the scene mc. More and more newcomers and juniors also regard sweet as a role model and goal, just like himself who participated in the Dragon and Tiger Fight in 2008, looking up to the little tiger and Jaiko.
In 2016, Sweet, Zhang Qian, Liang Weijia, Huang Shuo and several other local Rappers in Beijing who often perform on Section6, together established the label "Danzhen Beijing". This label now has a certain influence across the country. Today's sweet married and had children, moved to a new house, and lived a happy life. And all of this is based on his personal unremitting struggle.
