Official: Robbie Keane announces his retirement as assistant coach for Ireland

On November 28, the Premier League star, Ireland international Robbie Keane officially announced his retirement, and his new role is to assist the new coach of the Irish national team McCarthy as his assistant coach.

Robbie Keane, 38, debuted for Wolves and played for 11 clubs in his career, including Leeds United, Tottenham, Liverpool and the LA Galaxy, scoring 325 goals in 737 appearances for the club. For the national team, Robbie Keane scored 68 goals and is the top scorer in the history of the Irish national team.
